The SD Driver with Screw Holder is for professionals or DIY-ers that have a lot of work to get done. Using a manual screwdriver can strain your hands pretty quickly, and everyone drops fasteners and bits on the ground. Eliminate those two problems with this semi-automatic driver and bit changer—with a screw holder built right in. You just press the orange button on the tip to get the jaws to accept the screw. Then with just one hand, you can maneuver into tight spaces and drill it home. The jaws work when you need to back screws out, too. Your six favorite bits are stored onboard, and you cycle between them by shifting the top piece back towards you. With 0-230 revs/min of no-load speed, you’ll have enough torque to handle the most common screwdriver applications. And the LED headlamp lets you see what you’re doing, even in the dark. The internal 4V battery will hold a charge for up to 18 months, so you can toss the SD Driver on a shelf and it’ll be ready to go the next time you pick it up. A charger comes with it, as does the reloadable bit cartridge, which is stocked with 6 of the most common bits already. Save your hands and stop losing bits and fasteners. Get screws into places you never thought possible before. The SD Driver with Screw Holder is a solution to a couple of problems that come with using a regular screwdriver. Luckily, you don’t have to worry about those anymore.
- [QUICK DRAW BIT CHANGE] This SemiAutomatic Driver switches between 6 bits with a slide-action changer. Cycle from Phillips to flathead and four more of your favorite bits with just the flick of the thumb
- [HOLDS A CHARGE FOR MONTHS] Up to 18 months, as a matter of fact. The efficient 4v MaxLithium battery gives you the driving power you need, and will still have a charge the next time, even if that’s months from now
- [SCREW HOLDER] This innovative attachment keeps the screw in place so you can use the SD Cordless Screwdriver with just one hand
- [NEVER LOSE A BIT] Store bits in the internal Rapid Reloadable Cartridge. No more fumbling in your pockets or watching a bit fall through a floorboard
- [DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] WORX tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that’s been designed to last
- [COMES WITH 6 BITS] The reloadable cartridge comes stocked with a PH1, PH2, SL4, SL6, SQ1, and SQ2. Everything you need to get driving
- [COMES WITH CHARGER] The battery is internal, so you just connect the included charger when you need to top it up
- [ONLY 1.1 LBS] At that weight you can drive screws all day without hand strain. And that makes it maneuverable, too. Hold it up high and get into tough places without fatigue

We buy every tool we need from Worx! This makes our lives so much easier when it comes to remodeling our old house. All the tools are great and trust me we have many of them. This is great if you have big fingers because it holds the screw.

I tried it the day I received it. I had to screw down a few slats on the stockade fence. Worked well, once I drilled pilot holes. A good addition to my tool collection. Love the screw holder attachment.

The hardest part about this review is where I should put it. WX254L or WX255L. Bought the WX254L around 3 years ago and now it is showing it’s age. So I want to buy another. Despite it not changing bits correctly all the time, I love the WX254L.This tool , the WX255L looks like a good upgrade except:No light. My work requires the light more than a screw holder. I can use my fingers to hold the screw correctly. I do see that it would help where you can’t get your other hand in. Why couldn’t you just have kept the light.I’ve heard a comment about the bits being nonmagnetic (thru the tool itself). It is true that to try to magnetize the bits themselves is a waste of time. However you can get six of those super strong magnets and put them in two cylinders with an empty one in between. of the cylinders. Put the bit you want to use between the cylinders and put the turret in the screwdriver. The cylinder between the magnets should be on top. Push the slide forward and the bit will push forward and be magnetized. Makes a good screw holder. That said, I am on the fence whether I want to buy this newer tool or go with the older one. I am hoping I can get the older one (out of stock) before xmas. I would prefer it.One last thing. Don’t you know the ejection port goes on the right side of the screwdriver and not on the left? (Owners of semi-automatic weapons will get the joke.)I think I will hold out for the 245. (sigh) MacGyver’s Shop Teacher

This product works great, I do not have to be struggling to keep a screw straight while screwing it in. I wish it was a little more powerful, but for the job I got it for it works wonderful.

I’ve been looking for and thinking about an electric screwdriver with a screw holder for at leash 12 plus months. I just couldn’t justify, to myself, since I already have two without the screw holder. When I spotted the WORX unit it was love at first site. I purchased it immediately via the hot link in the picture. It only took a couple of days and it arrived. I charged it over night and starting using it the next day. It works as outlined within the published guide.

My son bought me the screw driver a few years back, is this an attachment or will I have to purchase the screwdriver too?

This little gun is lightweight and easy to use combined with the convenience of having all “bits” stored and available with a simple slide. I am the first to admit my tool ignorance…no skills required with this little screw driver. Forward and Reverse, bits on board, small and lightweight, rechargeable and uncomplicated – can’t ask for better than that! Highly recommend.

It is great for the small jobs so you dont have to get out the big drill and it holds the screw for you. Holding the screw is the greatest thing because with my arthritis it is hard to hold one sometimes. I liked it so well I bought 3 more for Christmas presents.

No assembly required. This driver is awesome! I’ve used it so often the wording on the side is wearing off. Easy to use even one handed! Lots of torque too!
