Ever wish you had a circular saw you can use with one hand? The 4-1/2” Worxsaw Compact Circular Saw is for the DIY-er that wants to put a little more muscle and flexibility into their projects. We’ve gone all-in on the maneuverability angle and created a sleek, easy to use, lightweight electrical saw that quickly adjusts cutting depth up to 2” (so you can tear through stock lumber), quickly adjusts for bevel cutting from 0-45 degrees, and lets you do all your cutting with one hand by utilizing an ergonomic, comfortable grip. It’s 4100 rpm will slice through 2x4s in a single pass. And the smaller blade—4-1/2” compared to the 7-1/4” of a traditional circular saw—requires less power to get up to the same speeds of much larger saws. That puts less strain on the motor and extends the life of the tool. The Worxsaw is made for wood, but it’ll cut many materials. And the dust port lets you attach a vacuum and keep sawdust out of your way. An included parallel guide will come in handy as you and your Worxsaw make quick work of the projects around your shop.
- [ONE-HAND OPERATION] The newly designed slim form factor makes the Worxsaw even lighter and more maneuverable. Grab it with one hand, and you’re good to go
- [2” CUTTING CAPACITY] Made to cut up to 2” thick stock lumber. It’s made for quick rip cuts around the house, too, but lumber is where it really gets to work
- [EASY DEPTH ADJUSTMENTS] Just press down the lever and raise or lower the main handle until you’re at the depth you desire for the project at hand
- [45 DEGREE BEVEL CUTS] For artistic or functional end pieces, you can come at your wood from an angle that’s just right
- [DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] Worx tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that’s been designed to last
- [QUICK BLADE CHANGE] Hold the red spindle lock, grab the hex key, unscrew the bolt, release the flange, switch out the blade and repeat those steps in reverse
- [DUST EXTRACTION] The dust port lets you hook up a vacuum so you can keep a clean work area. It makes things safer and it’s easier to see what you’re cutting
- [INCLUDES] 4.5” Compact Circular Saw, Wood Cutting Blade, Hex Key

Bought for home projects to replace standard circ saw. Worked perfectly on 2X lumber, no issues so far.

I have no regrets about buying the WorxSaw Compact Circular saw. I needed something light so I could cut into old siding using one hand held above eye level. This saw only weighs around five pounds compared to the nine-pounder I initially used. The quality appears good and it is easy to change blades and adjust the depth of cut. The two-button start can be a bit of a nuisance but I am okay with it as I do not want it to accidently come on while I am cradling it.

This compact circular saw is a great tool to have. Very light weight, yet very powerful for many applications. The “plunge ” on it saved me time and money when I had to repair a water damage floor at our beach house. The guide on it makes it very easy to stay straight on your cutting line, something you can’t do so easy with a regular circular saw.

completes the job just like I needed

This is a great little saw! It is simple and well made. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but it works really well. Light weight. Easy to adjust. Makes straight cuts. Not too loud.I’ve had the saw for about a month and a half. I haven’t used the saw blade that came with it because I already had a Diablo 24 tooth carbide blade, which I like very much. So, the Worx blade is a backup.I find myself using the Worx saw quite a bit, as it is usually much easier than setting up my 7-1/4″ Makita. It’s pretty easy to connect a shop vac, so most of the sawdust gets sucked up.I paid about $60 for the saw, which seems like a real bargain to me!

I bought this saw in addition to my 7-1/4″ saw because the larger saw was bulky to use in tight space for my home improvement. The saw is short and easy to grip. The thickness of barrel is perfect for my medium sized hand. I compared this with the earlier model, WX429L, at a store, and this newer model has a narrower barrel which fits my hand better.I compared other brands of model which had even narrower barrel, but they place motor far back so that the saw is longer (clumsy) and the weight balance is off. Therefore I picked this WX439L.The dust collection is not perfect but works. The dust collection adapter does not easily come off, which is good. Most of the construction is reinforce polyamid so the weight is low compared with one with aluminum. I have many power tools made of the reinforce polyamid therefore I think this tool will serve many long years, too.

I love my 4-1/2” WORXSAW compact Circular Saw. It’s light weight and much easier to use that a bulky two-handed Circular Saw. I liked it so well, I bought one for my son for his birthday.

All was good but the addition of another disc for tiles would help.

This was a good experience and the saw is a good product; even better and more capable than I had hoped when I ordered it. Thank you.

Bought this last spring and have used it last summer to replace 5 windows in my 100 year old house. Was very handing installing new windows and trim. Very useful on all small cuts needed to instal and level and trim those new windows. My daughter-in=law helped with this project and fell in love with this saw so I bought her one for helping.

This is such a handy tool and is easy to master. I bought it to help with installing a plank ceiling rather than cutting the individual planks with my jigsaw. I like that it can be set deep enough to cut thru a 2X4. The carbide tip blade cuts well and overall it feels like a quality tool. I am 73 and I wish I would have bought one of these 50 years ago.

This is a perfect little saw for me. Being a female senior and not being a professional carpenter, it worked well for the small jobs that needed to be done around the house. The handle is a little bit large for my hand but manageable. I Would’ve paid extra if it came with it’s own carrying case. All in all I would recommend this saw.

I bought this saw because I wanted a small saw to get on tight spaces I was so happy with it I bought the cordless one as well.

The tool is what I expected. (Which is uncommon). I bought it to take off some ‘stuck’ concrete forms in a place where my big old (1960’s era) saws wouldn’t do. (I needed to be precise). So, the little 4.5″‘s life started doing upside down 6’ rip cuts along a concrete edge (2×4’s). I bought an extra blade that I haven’t had put on … The saw performed well … but not perfect. When it encounters some ‘firmer’ resistance I’ve had the blade just spin on the axis (time to tighten ?) … but a little ‘tip-up’ usually solves the problem. I now keep it handy (on the bench more than it should be) for lots of little simple chops. I’ve found that I can keep a very straight line with it. The worst part is that the ‘safety’ (must be pressed with the trigger) is just a little awkward … and I think it would be worse for someone with smaller hands.

I have not used it yet but did checked it out and will work for what I am going to use it for the price was a good deal. Thanks for a good product.

The saw is great but the cord is stiffer than a wedding night ****.

The perfect size for small cutting projects. Cuts straight, easy to handle. Don’t know why I waited so long to get one!

Only thing I would add is a handle
