Ever wish you had a circular saw you can use with one hand? The 4-1/2” Worxsaw Compact Circular Saw is for the DIY-er that wants to put a little more muscle and flexibility into their projects. We’ve gone all-in on the maneuverability angle and created a sleek, easy to use, lightweight electrical saw that quickly adjusts cutting depth up to 2” (so you can tear through stock lumber), quickly adjusts for bevel cutting from 0-45 degrees, and lets you do all your cutting with one hand by utilizing an ergonomic, comfortable grip. It’s 4100 rpm will slice through 2x4s in a single pass. And the smaller blade—4-1/2” compared to the 7-1/4” of a traditional circular saw—requires less power to get up to the same speeds of much larger saws. That puts less strain on the motor and extends the life of the tool. The Worxsaw is made for wood, but it’ll cut many materials. And the dust port lets you attach a vacuum and keep sawdust out of your way. An included parallel guide will come in handy as you and your Worxsaw make quick work of the projects around your shop.

I bought this saw in addition to my 7-1/4″ saw. This is easy to use when the depth of the cut is shallow because the saw does not tilt up sky high.The WX439L has the perfect sized barrel for my medium size hand. Worx’s other product WX429L is too thick.In the contrary, other saws like Rockwell’s has thinner barrel, but they place motor far back so that the length is long and the weight balance is too much away from the shoe plate.The operating noise is acceptably good. Dust collection is effective although not perfect. The dust collection adapter stays in during handling.

The very first time I needed to use this Worksaw was to cut a very narrow piece of plastic off a a brand new slider that I just bought and the saw was so easy to control the cut went smooth without any issues.

I bought this tool for the reduced size and weight as compared to my larger handsaw. It does an amazing job with long straight cuts with plywood. Very easy to keep a straight line. I have found myself using this saw more than my larger handsaw I guess because it’s just easier to carry around and fun to cut with. My dad also told me that while he was in a boat building class they used these smaller saws to cut curves over a bandsaw/jig saw since it works better. I thought it was a a bonus that the saw comes with a vacuum attachment and an edge guide.
