The Worx MAKERX Angle Grinder with Brushless Motor was specifically designed to be slim and easy to grip with more than enough power to cut thin sheet goods and aggressively carve out complex shapes and contours. Thanks to variable speed control and a reliable, portable 20V power supply in the Hub, you have the flexibility to perform a number of tasks, like cutting pipes for wind chimes, making a wooden card holder, refurbishing the glass on those foggy headlights, cutting guttering or siding in place, and shaping copper sheets for ornamental pieces. And the included cut-off wheel, grinding wheel, and sanding wheel will get you started right out of the box. MAKERX has created crafting and hobby tools that are smaller, but more powerful—the secret lies in the Hub. It’s a power source that you can take with your tool, so if you want to work in the middle of a large space, you can, and still have the power to get the job done. This model doesn’t come with the MAKERX Hub or a 20V Power Share battery, but that’s by design. Because if you already have a Hub and a battery, there’s no need to buy it again, so a great way to save money.

I reached out and asked the WORX team if I could test this tool. I was using a larger, much heavier grinder to do all my edge work. I wanted something lighter and easy to maneuver to carve the edges.Right out of the package it was easy to assemble and I had the flap disk on it in less than a minute. What I really like about this tool is that it allows me to do a sharper carve into the wood than I could with the 4 inch disk. My hands do not get tired while using it due to it’s lightness so I am less fatigued when I use it.Now that i have this tool I have been playing with various projects to see what i could use it for. i made wands for my nephews and kids for Christmas by stripping the bark off some branches.The next thing I want to do is use it to try making wood carved statues, please check out my page on Instagram Night Carver Designs if you want to see videos of the tools in action.

I bought this item a week ago and it works great, it’s made for thin pieces of materials like wood and tiles so do not buy this if you are trying to cut large pieces of materials.

Bought this along with the other tools except for the airbrush. While its fairly well made, the motor doesn’t have the torque its should for being a brushless motor. With the size of the tool, it could easily have a larger motor that generates more torque. The other flaw is that there is no ability to use any of the quick-change industry standard formats (3M Roloc, or Norton TS) which would give the user access to ten of thousands of abrasives. In my shop it will see limited use because of those issues.

This smaller angle grinder has all the power and ability of a full size two hands to operate corded angle grinder but is much lighter and easier to operate single handed and to do more intricate work. You can cut, grind, clean and polish with it and the adjustable speed is a great option. Plus it is portable. Grab a battery and go.

Nice little tool.They don’t really tell you about it in the manual but it cuts out if it binds using a cut off wheel.First time it happened scared me, but it reset quickly and finished the job.Wish they would make an adapter so you could use “Roloc “style quick change discs.
