The HDWC-10 also boasts a glass lens for superb video quality along with automatic white balance, low light correction that automatically adjusts to ambient conditions, and a focusing range of 2.8″ to infinity. Thanks to an omnidirectional mic with a 360° pickup pattern that can pick up audio from 9.8 to 16.4′ away, you’ll have high-quality audio whether you’re right in front of the microphone or off to the side. If you’d like to connect the HDWC-10 to a tripod, there is a 1/4″-20 threaded mount. Otherwise, an integrated clip unfolds and clips onto your monitor or laptop screen.

Has been working well for what I need it for: endless zoom meetings! Easy to attach to the top my monitor, but I like that I could use a tripod if needed. Picture quality is better than the built in camera for my work laptop. The sound from the mic is also better than the mic default in my laptop, thought probably not as good as a USB mic. I chose the 65 degree camera because I don’t like the really wide angles that capture everything in a room.

First webcam for me. The Xcellon HDWC-10 was an excellent choice as it is solid and can be placed just about anywhere. I am not fat nosed due to distortions as it adjusts well even though the lens is a wide angle one. Angling is a breeze. The clip on top to protect being viewed at various times is a great feature. Image quality in my opinion is equal to much more expensive cams but since I do not have the more expensive ones, can only make an assessment. Will get much use out of this webcam.
