Expand your system’s connectivity with the Xcellon 4-Port Slim USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A Hub. With four USB Type-A ports, this hub can be used to connect a variety of peripherals such as flash drives, keyboards, and more. Adhering to USB 3.1 Gen 1 standards, it has data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s, so you can spend less time waiting and more time getting things done. Moreover, its slim design makes it easily pocketable for use on-the-go.
Note: This USB hub supports data transfer only. It will not deliver power to devices.

Good hub, performs okay as long as you avoid power hungry devices

The 4 port USB HUB seems well-built and works as advertised. I use it with my Mac Pro computer. I needed something small enough to travel with that would expand the available ports on my computer. I purchased it about 3 weeks ago, thus there is not a long history of functioning normally.

Seems to works fine so far

Powers all my external devices, even those flash thumb drives that require extra power.

Works fine, I have not tested its speed but it does what I wanted it to do, not much else to say.

This replaces a more expensive hub that failed. So far, I am pleased with the unit. The transfer speeds seem faster than the old hub.

I have only one USB 3.0 port on my laptop and any USB peripheral attached to the HUB won’t show on the computer. It would work on a USB 2.0 port, but that doesn’t help me.

In controlled interior environment, used to run 2 backup drives for video. Small and inexpensive.

Worked initially but less than a year later one of the ports has extensive signs of corrosion. Unplugging all devices from this as I would prefer to keep my device functioning rather than shorting.

I’m powering a telescope setup and running USB connections from this to my laptop. Works perfect so far.

A nice way to increase the number of USB ports on a laptop. It doesn’t support power, but it is great for making the most of an exising USB port. I use mine to attach an ethernet adapter and a couple of USB thumb drives, without having to disconnect one or the other.

Gives more ports which was really helpful for my imac

Works as advertised, having the extra connections is a significant improvement, and knowing that it will handle the higher USB 3.1 speeds is what I was after.

Works as advertised, no issues and no adapter needed to connect to my MacBook Pro. If you have older external drives to hook up to newer computers this works like a champ.

A very compact design is what first caught my eye. Then the flexibility of not being anchored to the computer port in the air as some others are. Once I got hold of it, I was amazed by how light it was. Now its easier to charge-up some battery operated items, run programs stored on flash cards, and to transfer files into external HD’s. It is also very handy when traveling on the road.

Since I use a gaming laptop without a dvd player/recorder for video editing and recording, this external 4 port usb adapter makes it super for adding the dvd player. My laptop ports are already in use for other devices and gadgets. The expansion with added usb ports is very helpful.

We needed for a laptop that has a usb-c output since the laptop only had 2 regular usbs. Works great. Connected a usb wireless mouse and an external hdd.
