My computer front ports stopped working with a Windows 10 update, and I could not get them to work again. But my rear 3.1 ports were working fine. So I saw this little unit, and bought it at B&H’s low price. It’s plug and play, and functions perfectly. I plugged it into a rear port, and double-sided taped it to the computer top. It has a power button that once turned on, never has to be used again. Turn the computer off, turn it on again, and the hub powers up with the computer. Perfect, and an easy fix! I can high-speed transfer to my USB sticks again!

The four port works well and has an on off button that is handy. The .wire is heavy duty, but too long for my portable. B&H as usual, best prices and right on time

I was easily able to backup my computer. I am still learning how to manage the data.

This hub was immediately recognized by my laptop with Windows 10, without the need to install drivers. Connected 2 HDDs to it and file transfer speed is perfectly fine. Haven’t witnessed any issues so far.

my Apple wireless mouse got all jumpy and out of control when I plug this in. Had to unplug it. Now what, I don’t know? It works. I would not recommend unless I figured a workaround. Why would a hard wired device interfere with a wireless device?

What more can I say? You plug it in, it works! Nice design, too.

This product is amazing and fast. Though the cord is a little short, I had to use a USB extension cord.

Because I am trying to keep two aging machines going, I find that I have too few USB outlets to use. To do a mini-upgrade and increase the amount of USB 3 plugins available to me, I purchased this Xcellon model. It installed in seconds and handles the three devices I have plugged into the hub without issues. I liked the first so much that I purchased a second and now have both machines in my office hubbed for USB 3.0. On/Off button means you don’t have to hot swap unless you want to….which you certainly can without a problem. Unit comes well-packaged and installs in seconds. I compared a bunch of these hubs and found this one to be as good as the top models but at a fraction of the price.

Really? You need it, you get it.

It allows multiple devices to connect through a single port on the computer. Serves it’s need. Cable length a little short so it still has to sit behind or near the back of the computer.

This little beauty makes everything fly so much faster I wish I had updated earlier. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Portable USB Hub.

Works perfectly. Mouse connects on boot. Good advice from staff at B&H.

It is fast and very convenient. I have a ridiculous monitor with the USB plugs recessed in the back–this helps a lot. However the Excellon adapter I ordered from B and H arrived DOA, Dead on arrival which really surprised me. I thought that maybe my computer was not working or something. So I tested and tested until I concluded, yup, DOA. I wrote the company and they replaced it.

Nice product at a nice price. I keep it attached to the top of my laptop with Velcro. It is small and unobtrusive. My only quibble is that the on-off button is easily pushed by mistake. I have glued two garden hose gaskets over it, so that it is easy to use but difficult to push accidentally. You may not be as much of a nerd as I am, so a different unit may suit you better.
