First time we used this, computer crashed, but we recovered using system repair. Second time Caused computer to totally crash, had to reinstall all software again including C6, Lightroom, Photomatics, NIK and Topaz among others.

It’s good but sometimes transfer speeds drop down.

A great product, a little pricey for the simplicity of a one to four USB connection, but it’s does the job and I’ve had it for almost a year now with no complaints

I use it for USB port expansion and needed a 3.0 version.

This is the second Xcellon I bought I like it because it uses its own power

Inexpensive, small works so far, no issues. Use it in a custom tether case.

A very compact design is what first caught my eye. Then the flexibility of not being anchored to the computer port in the air as some others are. Once I got hold of it, I was amazed by how light it was. Now its easier to charge-up some battery operated items, run programs stored on flash cards, and to transfer files into external HD’s. It is also very handy when traveling on the road.

needed another Hub and I repeated: a USB 4311B works perfect and it is slimmer than the previous ones

It’s a fine, 4-port USB hub with a connecting cable long enough so the hub can be placed in front of your computer. Works fine!

The Xcellon is one the most useful and inexpensive computer accessories I own.

Nice product at a nice price. I keep it attached to the top of my laptop with Velcro. It is small and unobtrusive. My only quibble is that the on-off button is easily pushed by mistake. I have glued two garden hose gaskets over it, so that it is easy to use but difficult to push accidentally. You may not be as much of a nerd as I am, so a different unit may suit you better.

We had a hub that connected with a thin floppy wire. The connector on this portable USB hub is so much sturdier. Seems to be working great.

Perfect for any USB C laptop. Works well.

Seems to do just fine. The main body’s plastic is not the best quality, however it sits peacefully on my desk under the mere grams of pressure my peripheral’s cords place on it, not in a holster awaiting battle. So, it’s just great. I don’t know what the button does, I am scared to push it. No mention of its function in the manual.

Works perfectly and as expected, good item for the price.

I needed more USB space, and this unit absolutely is the right way to go! 4 extra USB slots, on a unit with a cord that makes my connections more accessible and allow more options for peripheral equipment.
