   The adapter snapped into place without a problem to a Xerox Versalink C405. The wireless adapter has its own IP Address to connect the printer to your computer. I hope this helps.

   You need this to set up for first time and it is NOT included with the copier and is a surprise to have to buy it for another $50 and then wait for it to arrive.

   apparently in when spending $700 on a Xerox printer in 2020, it doesn’t come with the ability to print wirelessly….LOL. So you have to spend another $52 to do this. B&H was fantastic and delivered the product to me in a very timely fashion. Their prices and service are very competitive. Always check with them before you buy on Amazon or are local to the NYC area

   The adapter works great, but Xerox should have provided Network connection ability in the basic printer.
