Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

When our Xerox Phaser wore out after 10 reliable years, we naturally looked at Xerox’ offerings. The WorkCentre 6515 exceeds the Phaser. We can now do double sided scanning in a single pass. It prints and warms up faster. The digital display is easier to use and has more options. The built-in USB port has saved us when our network was down. There is no substitute for laser color printing, and Xerox has it perfected. On top of all this, the WorkCentre is priced very competitively. We are so happy with our Xerox WorkCentre 6515!

We’ve been using this printer for over a year with no issues. It is simply a workhorse for us

This printer is always going offline. We are always having to restart it to be able to print from it. Even when it’s directly plugged into the computer.

I bought this unit about a year ago, I have tried to set it up with my system, and it has failed to make the connection. I have an old Phaser 6180 that works great, I thought the workcenter would be a good one too. Totally disappointed with the attempts to contact Xerox, but nothing, nothing on line. It is totally worthless from my point of view.

We have experienced nothing but difficulty in setting this up to scan. Oftentimes, it will be working fine and then the next day will not print unless we uninstall/reinstall. Updating drivers does not help. I’m sorry we replaced our Brother MFC9440 with this. The Brother was FAR easier to use in our business.

We use this in the office and it has so far been an excellent machine. The print quality is excellent and it seems robust enough to handle good size jobs. Highly recommend.

After repeated attempts following written instruction, had to get a local tech from the dealer, 40 miles away, to help get the interface done to scan to my PC.

I create bulletin’s for my church with the workcentre 6515 each week. They turn out very good. I do recommend that you use xerox ink, because, if you don’t the quality drops considerably. Overall it is a very reliable machine.

Print or copy darkness is sometimes very good and other times faint, with no reason apparent for the variation. The paper feeder will not function to allow 2-sided copying, and it must be done by turning the originals over by hand on the platen. Scanning is not intuitive and must be requested/commanded from the computer rather than by simply telling the copier to scan to the linked computer. Otherwise, the printer has been very reliable and generally produces good output at a fairly good speed. Copying quality is not nearly as good as direct printing quality.

This product is to help ease my business interactions. I have a cleaning company called Blue Swan Commercial Cleaning and I scan, fax and copy.

Does what it states. Works well and easy to setup.

We love the print quality and scan capabilities but it is not user friendly for a small business of ten people. If a problem occurs, it is very complicated to resolve. The internet is required and some computer knowledge is needed in order to follow the necessary steps. The app does not allow resets, adding users, etc. We cannot afford a printer that requires a sales person to maintain. We do not recommend this product for ease of use. RDC Inc.

Works well. But I did have to get a professional to come out and get it to work with all of our computers, tablets and phones.

I direct a small nonprofit and have been very pleased with this printer. As a staff of one, I have found it reliable and easy to troubleshoot.

The Xerox WorkCentre 6515 is a good printer with excellent resolution. Unfortunately, Xerox offers very little for support, in terms of the manual or technical issues. I had to print on a #10 envelope and despite the correct settings in the software, the printer would not accept the envelope and kept referring to it as an A5 sheet of paper. The videos Xerox posted on YouTube were useless as they did not apply to this printer. I soon discovered others had the same problem and could not find a solution. It took me several hours of going through pages on the home screen to tell the printer to accept that I was printing on a #10 envelope. The solution was not in the manual or the knowledge base on the Xerox website. It was a trial and error to discover the solution. The printer has a duplexing unit but in the setup it will not show the duplexer is installed. You can print on both sides of a sheet of paper through the print settings in software, despite the setup. This is a great printer but Xerox has done a very poor job of explaining how to use it and how to go through the home screen to configure basic settings. Unless you have very simple printing tasks or want to invest time in learning how to use all the selections on the touch screen, get another unit that is much simpler to use. Until Xerox engineers and product support people can write a manual that covers all the features, I would not recommend this printer to anyone.

Great print quality and adequate speed, but constant prompts that it “needs attention”.

With the current technology, I was expecting the functions to be easier. For example, when I need to print labels, I need to select the options. It is not able to detect that I am printing labels based on the document I am printing. I had HP for 10 years and I never had to change settings from regular paper to labels at any time. When reloading paper, it prompts you to confirm what kind of paper was just loaded. Scanning, copying and printing are very slow.
