Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

The set up of components to scan was not intuitive and required multiple calls to support. The scanner pulls documents in crooked and no matter how you try to adjust them in the feeder they are not straight. The toner cartridges are very expensive. The price was good but it is large and takes up too much space in a home office setting. The wireless connection was relatively easy.

It takes awhile to print after it comes from rest mode It is difficult to scan a lot of items and be able to package them from our computer–so we have to stand up many times It is difficult to use the bypass tray–the steps are not simple The HP we had was much easier to learn and use and quicker to respond.:(

Easy setup, Wi-Fi connectivity is rock solid. Print quality is outstanding, and speed is good. Don’t think you could buy anything comparable for near the price.

I am a business partner with Xerox and have sold many 6515s besides other models. My clients use eConcierge which is a great service from Xerox and provides the client with lifetime time warranty. In the rare instances where problems were called in, the techs from Xerox were very responsive and solved the problems.

It is fast, good quality printing and a great scanner. Warranty service, technical support and customer service have all been great. The help/product information online are the best. . The machine is big and heavy. The purchase price was reasonable, but the laser toner refills are expensive. I would buy it again.

I am unable to figure out how to get this printer to print properly. I have had the printer quite a while, but it prints so lightly i cannot read it. I have not been able to use it as of yet really. I have not had the time to call technical support yet. I will update my review as soon as I can figure out how to use the product. I am not a novice user either.

I’ve been using this printer, fax, scanner combo for about 4 1/2 months now and I haven’t had any issues. Its easy to use, has many features and I still haven’t used it to it’s full capacity. I like most that it is quiet and fast and super efficient. I am still learning about all the features it comes with. Pleasantly surprised

I am actually babysitting this printer for a family member and will struggle when it goes back home. This printer is very professional in the speed and color management for documents. Its ink use is minimal and well priced. The double sided feature is excellent for saving on paper and the environment. Its scanning and copying features are just as fast as printing. Features allow multiple users to hold their print jobs until they’re ready to retrieve them. Love it, don’t want to give it back!

It’s not an intuitive printer, I can’t figure out how to print wirelessly. I’ve watched YouTube videos, uninstalled and reinstalled driver, my printer is connected to my Wi-Fi, to the same network as my computer, but still nothing. I’ve searched the manual, but still nothing.

This is a great printer A+. Easy to use and set up on your local network, and print remotely from your phone or tablet. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone

This is a terrific printer and a terrific copier. It does a great job with printing single sided and double sided. It makes good copies. The scanner is nearly impossible to configure. I have a moderately advanced understanding of IT and I could not get the printer to stay networked with my computer to the point that it would consistently scan to the computer. I also never succeeded in pairing it with my email provider’s servers. Xerox is not alone in this issue. MFPs are generally horrible at things like scanning to computers and emailing scans. So, I don’t take points off for not succeeding at this task. It’s a terrific printer though. Fast. Great image quality. My husband and I are in grad school and print a ton. This machine handles everything we throw at it. It was a great investment. I even bought a second machine to have on hand when this one eventually dies, because I know it’s nearing the end of its manufacturing life cycle. I like it so much I don’t want to say goodbye to it. So I’ve already purchased its identical successor.

When it works it’s a good unit. However, I’ve had to reinstal this so many times and it still doesn’t work properly. I’ve wasted hours – so I GIVE UP! IF SOMEONE WANTS IT FOR FREE – REACH OUT AND ARRANGE “PICK UP!”

We bought this for both personal and small business support. We print our own cards (business, birthday, special occasions) and our previous printer had issues with heavier paper (would not feed card-stock) and didn’t support double sided printing (without having to flip the paper over and re feed it). This printer does all of that and more without a problem. For what we use it for it’s great! The set-up is very tricky which is why I took away a star, (still can’t get it to connect to the internet for updates and remote printing).

I replaced my trusty old Brother MFC-9840MFP which I kept on life support at least 5 years beyond reasonable lifetime. I have also used Dell and HP printers. I am known to my friends as having a “printer issue’ The Xerox 6515 is very capable. It handles scanning, fax, printing well. I don’t use the security features as it is in a trusted office environment. The speed is great, even in double sided mode, color, and when rendering raster graphics. My previous printer noticeably struggled when printing raster graphics versus vector or text with basic business graphics. This printer goes to sleep and wakes up with a print job reliably. I can print to the printer using Mopria or the Xerox app from my cell phone without lots of fussing every time which is really appreciated. I really only have one negative: the printer thinks there is a difference between “plain paper” and “recycled paper”. There is no way to tell the printer to just print anything 8.5″ x 11″ out of the primary tray if nothing else is a better match. As a result, we get lots of “Failed jobs” from Chromebooks which insist on selecting “recycled paper” as the paper type, no matter what we do. I really wish Xerox would have a media type of “default” so that anything that matches a paper size, if no other more specific attribute is available, will print. If that were the case, I would be at 5 stars unabashed on this printer.

The quality of print is excellent but it is very slow and also has very unclear error messaging

The Xerox printer started off great just like anything new but it eventually kept on freezing up and you would have to disconnect the device to restart it because you could not do it from the printer menu itself. Often times after recently restarting it you had to do it again after it started up again. The alignment of the color ink is off and after doing the alignment various times it still is off good thing the black is still good or else would have gotten rid of the thing a long time ago. As for speed that’s the only good thing it has. It does print very quickly but then the fan kicks in and you have to wait a while to print anything else. So do not but this printer.

This printer is built well and works without flaw. I haven’t had any jams in the paper feed for the scanner or blank paper.

We run a cleaning company that does a decent amount of printing. We were looking for an all in one laser printer that printed color, settled on this one and over 10,000 pages later still love it. Great for two sided printing and networking properties. Also is not expensive to fill with toner and it last for a very long time.
