Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

Print quality and speed is excellent. Ease of use is terrible and is soo bad that it impacts the other feature that are rated excellent. There are a number of problems I’ve had that customer service has helped me with but a new problem comes up quite often. Maybe I can’t read and understand manuals that are supposed to explain “how to” fix” problems or misunderstandings.

Great price for a fast color laser printer. It is feature rich which makes initial setup and use a little more complicated than the average consumer laser printer, but that comes with features that approximate enterprise level printing.

I like the printer, but it has some issues. i never was able to get it connected to the network so i can scan and save them to my computers. I always have to use the USB. it also always prints out a test copy every time i turn on the printer. I don’t see a setting to remove that.

I would not recommend this printer for any small business. It has been undependable from day one. I purchased this printer/copy/fax/scan because i needed a machine to do all of these things. I purchased this printer in Dec 2019 and hooked it up Feb 2020. From the beginning it would not scan or fax. I finally got it to work for about a week. I luckily had not sold my old printer because i have had to use it ever since last march. I paid a tech company co come in and get my system working. It worked for 7-10 days now the workcentre has deleted its setup in the computer. Again paid someone to come out and they reloaded it. that lasted 2 days. In the middle of one of my busiest weeks of the year the printer sits unusable to even copy at this point. I have been trying to get help from xerox but they are in the office the same hours that i am at my other job. They are only avaIable monday – friday 9-5 ET no weekends no evenings. This is not helpful at all. I have no idea how i am going to get this fixed. I paid good money for this machine and I research it before buying. I AM COMPLETELY DISAPOINTED IN THE PRODUCT. If they dont help me fix it i will be forced to buy another machine.

It should be a simple task to print, copy, and/or scan, but it’s always a challenge of some sort. Right now I can’t make a copy because it says I have too many print jobs in process. I have no print jobs in process!

I really like this product for the price. Great printing quality and good toner life! Not sure why the paper tray is smaller than a full ream of paper, since its predecessor had a much larger paper tray. Also, the touchscreen is slow to respond and hard to scroll. Other than those two feature issues, very reliable for a small office environment.

I have been using various kinds of Printers for the past 20 plus years, and most of them were problematic, among the problems but not limited to paper jamming, slow speed, terrible printing copies, (etc.) there was always a issue with the printer. And to add insult in injury when you call for help U get the run around. But since I got this printer it has been great and I get great support from the seller. My friends the best argument is to purchase one and see for yourself, I give this product a five stars because it is a good investment, and for the benefit of those that are looking for a good and reliable printer. XEROX is the way to go.

Setting up the Xerox 6515 is easy to do because of the step by step method provided. Once set up, users have a wide variety of ways to configure the Xerox 6515 to meet the users needs. Menus are easily accessible by the touch of the screen. IT personnel will find the online accessibility useful and easy to use.

This printer was purchased for my home, to replace a failing ink jet printer. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a typical home user, because it takes a technical knowledge (retired enterprise server administrator) to get the scan to email and scan to SMB working. Perfect workgroup or small office printer, with an impressive feature set, for the price: Wi-Fi and wired networking, printing from a USB drive, direct Wi-Fi printing, and even NFC printing. Scanning to email, shared folder, FTP and SFTP. My favorite new feature is the two-sided scanning. In a server environment, LDAP can be configured, for copy accounting, using an add-on card reader.

This is a good multifunction printer for small businesses. However, with time, the ADF is problematic. There are also issues with print quality when the printer is still working after a couple of years. It seems like the products are meant to work well for a short time and then replaced. You can also only make legal size copies through the ADF. GOOD MACHINE WITH SOME QUIRKS.

We like the printer and all of its features and capabillities. Ink cartridges are efficient and reasonably priced. The only negative is the size of the paper tray. Why they didn’t put in a tray that can handle a ream of paper is news to me.
