Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

Print quality is great on this machine. The only thing that is a problem is the lid does not stay shut on the printer. It keeps popping up, like the catch is not strong enough.

My issues is that we ordered the additional 8.5 by 14″ tray but you cannot, except directly from the computer, print that size paper. The screen isn’t large enough. Since we do a lot of larger printing and they are booklets it has made things cumbersome. We may have to print things at another sight because it is just too hard to get the formatting. There should be some kind of warning, etc. about the disparity between the paper tray and the glass screen.

The product has been easy to use and is fast. Although I use it in my office as a personal printer, it has the functionality that could support the entire office.

I bought the 6515/DNI version. The D means the duplexer to print on both sides. By default, it is disabled and you can’t even enable it in the driver or user interface. I googled and found some obscure instructions on how to enable the duplexer feature in the printer firmware. After that, the driver no longer had the feature greyed out, and I could select 2-sided printing. By default the printer prints out a test page EVERY time it turns on or resets. I could find no way to disable this on the user interface. I had to google again and found how to find that buried in the settings on the web interface. The user manuals had no mention of a Web Interface for configuring the printer. The touch screen user interface is not logical for finding the configuration settings. It is annoying that it has to reset the printer any time you go into the settings area. It seems like only 1 interface can be enabled (ethernet, wireless, etc) at a time, but I am not sure that is correct. My Windows 10 machine had no problem finding the printer, but my Windows 7 machine I had to manually enter the IP address, even though I had installed all the drivers from the CD. The scan function worked fine on the Windows 10 machine even without installing the application, but the Windows 7 machine could not scan even after installing the application. Once I got it set up, the printing was fast and the quality was good.

A very good piece of office equipment. Lots of really good features. Doesn’t eat the ink. Reliable, it doesn’t jam up all the time. I do have difficulty with it not doing printing on two sides, and picking the right selections for the paper can be a little tricky. Overall, one of the better printers I’ve worked with, and I’m probably just overthinking things.

The drivers, scanning a nd feeder continually give problems, to such an extent that I am going to replace this device with something that works.

I bought this to offset or office copier/printer which is a lease. The pint speed and quality are great. The only issue I have is smearing when we do a large color print job. The speed is awesome and the connectivity is beyond question. The second aspect of this print er is the supplies cost. They are not bad. The price is in line with other printers and even a little cheaper. This replaced an office quality Ink Jet printer and it has been a cost savings.

had 0 complaints for the first year, but then it started getting wonky on me, didn’t like my new computer, and started putting a line down the page on the double side scan feature. Theres no dirt to be found in it so I assume the scanner is defective in that part. Also had a hard time scanning to computer, seems like you need a computer genius to set that up but that may not be a zerox only thing. Pros are it is built solid and heavy. Customer service seemed excellent but you have to pay a lot after your first call to them.

This printer has everything I need for home. Clean prints, color, speed…quality! My only issues were some updates that did not get installed properly (issue with new OS updates) and there was confusion on my part with getting the Scan To function to work properly. Overall, I would buy this product again and encourage others to purchase it as well.

This is a replacement for a desk top printer and I was worried that it would be too big, but this printer not only fits well, but it prints, scans, faxes and everything else I need it to do and all in one convenient location. Don’t know why I didn’t switch sooner.

This product performs well for a few days, then decides to give me various problems. It has printing errors that are not explained. It takes forever to communicate with my computer, which I bought at the same time I bought the printer. I have not tried to do anything fancy with this printer. I just want it to print when I send it something to print. It seems to periodically not want to do that! I am considering junking this printer and going back to an inkjet printer!

I’ve only had this printer for a few months and I wish we could return it. It’s over-complicated for no apparent reason. It’s already making me shut down sporadically due to some internal error. Scanner is just ok. Unable to get it to scan to computer without taking all of our firewall and protections down. Just not a fan.

the work center goes off line regularly and some off the number keys don’t work properly.

The WorkCentre 6515 is a workhorse of a printer and does a very good job once you get it going. The 200+ page manual was obviously written by someone who’s first language is not English and it’s very difficult to figure out exactly how to do some simple tasks. A common error message is “Resources Required,” however, you have to figure out for yourself what resource is needed, it doesn’t tell you. Often, it’s something to do with the paper you’re using but it takes some discovery to figure it out. The communication from my computer to the printer for changing any settings is unacceptably slow. If you have an IT person working for you it’s no big deal. However, it’s just me printing stuff in the basement and I just want to print stuff, not peruse through the manual to figure out what an error message is.

I’ve had this printer about two years now and have been very happy with its performance and the quality of the printing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a multifunction network color laser printer.

The printer has very good quality and is easy to use. The setup was a bit tricky. Would recommend an IT person to help set it up.
