Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

I have had the WordCentre 6515 for three months and there are only a few things that are annoying. This is my first color laser printer for my home office so these items my be common and I am not aware of that. 1) It is rather large. But it looks great and professional. 2) It takes several seconds to warm up and print. 3) You have to push “ok” every time you open the paper drawer. 4) I have yet to figure out how to run envelopes of addresses. They get jammed. Other than that, it has performed like a champ. It was easy to set up and I love being able to print wirelessly from anywhere in the house. At this point, I would buy another.

While not my primary concern when I made the purchase of the work center, it has proven to be very efficient and better than my expected needs. I had minor installation issues but soon resolved them and the machine serves me very well with easy controls. I have used other big name brands that have been designed as personal and small business devices for decades yet this Xerox machine has surpassed them all.

Overall it has worked well, but last year (2020) the scanner bed has had an issue. The back side will put a large black stripe on the image if scanning or on a copy. If I do just the front for scanning, there is not a stripe. I could not find a solution in the support and FAQ sections. Like with any printer, I wish the toner was cheaper.

As a small business that doesn’t go through a high volume of printing each month we found the Xerox Work Centre 6515 to be fast and reliable without having to continually replace pricey ink cartridges like the smaller low-price printers. The external wireless feature is also great for recognizing a number of devices allowing for office sharing without having to use the office wifi. Would highly recommend giving the 6515 a try.

This printer model came out with Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Off the box and on the initial setup, the printer does not read any Wi-Fi networks around it. You have to enter the SSID manually and often does not connect on first trial. I know this because this is my third WorkCentre 6515. Good printer if connected to a single desktop or laptop computer. On a network, this printer gets disconnected from time to time for no apparent reason. To reconnect, I do a printer troubleshooting from Windows 10 printer settings. That works all the time. The tray and paper settings are not user friendly. I have issues printing envelopes from the by-pass tray. Finally, for those interested in connecting Apps to the printer like OneDrive or Office365, salesforce, etc., this printer is not the right choice.

In addition to being easy to connect to WIFI network, very nice features and print quality, I really like the 2 sided printing capabilities. I ordered this printer for home use and did not realize how much it weighed and it really takes two to handle. Not a bad thing, but just be prepared.

The printer works awesome and it’s fast, but I found it very difficult to set it up with my PC. printing is straightforward, but scanning and saving to my computer was very convoluted and still haven’t figured it out. you have to set up a local network, and even the help videos weren’t able to help me figure it out. I also can’t stand that it always prints a diagnostic page when it’s powered on.

I purchased this machine because I was able to find cheap replacement toner. The Xerox WorkCentre is amazing. Color 2 sided copies and printing that is very fast. It is an incredibly efficient machine and the footprint is not that big . It is a heavy item but one that I know we will use for a long time to come. Very happy with this purchase and it arrived 2 days before the estimated delivery which made it even sweeter.

The best thing about this printer is it”s ease of use. After the initial setup, all the features and setting are accessible via a large touch screen. A perfect example of a very useful feature is scan to e-mail – you simply insert the sheet into the feeder, choose the e-mail icon, select your name with it’s associated e-mail address, and press scan. And voila! The document you just scanned is in your inbox.

I have 3 of these printers between my home and office. One decided to quit working right after the warranty expired. The other 2 print very well. They do not however scan well. Scans always come out very light and are sometimes hard to read when they’re turned into PDF’s. Scanning from the tray is a pain because the pages are always crooked. Overall it’s a decent unit for the cost, as long as you don’t want professional scans.

I have had the workcentre 6515 for about 9 months now. Within that time, I have had the whole top assembly replaced once and now it’s broken again and needs to be replaced…again. This is annoying because the main reason I bought this unit was for the copy/scan capabilities and the document feeder. Now none of those capabilities work and it’s just a big, heavy printer. The print functionality has been fine.

I had other xerox printers and they were great. I barely have used this thing because it jams if I am printing more than 3 pages. Already had to replace the phasor unit and it’s less than a year old. I have never been so frustrated with a printer before. Updated drivers and everything and it still jams. Had technician out and he thought everything looked good other than replacing the phasor unit. I can’t believe a printer jams in the year 2020. I put it out to be recycled. Never buying a xerox again after this frustration.

I am very happy with my Xerox WorkCentre 6515. It prints, copies and scans all at great speeds. The quality is great. It does other things that I have yet to use. The price from BH Photo was super.

Not the best interface, nor is it very fast. Not a fan of the way you can’t print something right after you make a copy unless you hit “done” on the screen. If I make a copy, make me a copy and then be ready for business. Too many times, someone will make one copy and walk away, and everyone else waiting on docs to print are stuck in a queue
