Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

I am not sure why it takes so long for a 1 MB file to spool and print. I print even larger files and it continually takes 10-15 to send a 1-10 MB file to the printer! Not sure what I am doing wrong. But I had a Dell color laser all-in-one. That printer lasted me over 15 years before is was less expensive to buy a new one than replace parts. Regardless, it typically took only a minute or so spool and send multiple copies to the printer. I am getting maybe 10 pages every 15 minutes. That should not be!

Paper tray is TOO SMALL, print quality is mediocre and I can’t have default settings that DEFAULT back after someone selects different print option i.e. default is B/W, someone selects color for 1 job and unless they set back to B/W everything after that prints in color). Very disappointing!

This printer has become a mainstay in our small business. It withstands our multitude of printing needs as well as copying and scanning. Could not ask for a more efficient, cost effective printer!

I have owned this printer for nearly 2 years and have had no problems with it. It does everything the bigger more expensive multifunction printers do at a fraction of the price and the output is better than the competitions. I have recommended this device to several people and they are also very happy with it.

I have had this for several years and it has served me pretty well, with a few problems. The printing is high quality, both black-and-white and color, and the 2-sided printing is a great convenience. The scanning function was a bit quirky and took me a while to figure out, and the paper feeder for multi-page copying has never functioned for me.

I only got to enjoy the wireless convenience temporarily. It wasn’t easy sending a fax because I had to connect some wires differently. I don’t know if this affected my wireless printing capability, but I began having trouble printing. Now, I have to email myself the job to be printed and print from my email account. I have tried uninstalling the printer and reinstalling it and searching for an updated driver, but I still can’t print from my laptops. I don’t recommend this printer for someone who’s not an IT specialist. I hate I trusted this name brand. They use Ricoh at my job, but I went with the name I knew had been around. I regret my decision.

Printer hardwired to our network. Haven’t activated wifi yet. Directions with machine were inadequate. Still working on setting up scanning capabilities. Print quality is good. Speed is reasonable. For some reason, occasionally won’t print. Error message isn’t clear as to what needs to be done. Might need more technical capability than I possess to make it work as designed. I will follow up again after longer period of use.

Prints nicely — sometimes. Falls off line, has jambs, faults and generally stumbles and fumbles way too often. Takes a loooong time to boot up (think windows 3.11 boot up time). Think about a different printer. I think it was amateur hour in the Xerox software department.

I bought this just over a year ago and for the most part it worked okay until an error code 062-380 appeared. After searching on the internet for Xerox 6515 062-380 it seems a lot of people are having the same scanning issue with this model after about a year. It will still print but all scanning and copy features are not functioning. The cost of a new scanning unit is more than a new printer. I purchased this, in part, due to the perceived reliability of the Xerox brand, but this model is a complete disappointment. Do not recommend.

I like everything about this printer except that the ability to scan double sided though the top feeder broke. The fix from what I can tell is an expensive board replacement that seems difficult to get at.

Works well for the snall amount of printing and scanning I do

I love having a printer that prints with the same quality as the big print companies!

Print speed and quality is great. Problems with some networks computers could be an issue. Could use the web interface to setup other options instead of using the touch screen, Easy to use web interface and tracking of consumables is good. Have not had to buy replacement toner yet, so I can’t comment on those prices.

It is difficult to get it out of energy saving mode but other than that, it is easy to use and I like the tablet-like interface.

I’ve been very happy with everything about this printer! With 4 small businesses being ran out of our house, I print A LOT of documents on various media (8.5×11, 8.5×14, envelopes, labels, cardstock, postcards, etc.). The touch screen has made switching paper sources a breeze! I think I’ve only had one paper jam in the year that I’ve been using it, and that was my fault for selecting the wrong paper source. It’s even allowed me to do things no other printer has allowed me to do before without jamming – print on labels where half of the labels had already been tore off! The scanner has also never failed me. I’m incredibly happy with this printer and would recommend it to anyone that needs a machine that can do it all 🙂

This has been a great machine. Very fast, not many problems and IT guys can resolve most problems via internet.

Very solid printer. Does a great job of not only printing but scanning as well. Been using it for the last 3 years and other than changing the toner, have had no issues with the printer. We actually have 2 of them.

This is my 3rd Xerox workcenter, it replaced a 6505, and for me it is a large step forward. First of all, the user interface is straightforward and easy to use. Second, it is fast. Third, print quality is excellent. Fourth, paper handling when copying, faxing or scanning has been flawless. A major complaint I had with the 6505 was it required me to use the manual paper feed when printing labels, and they were never properly registered. With this printer, I can use the normal paper tray and they are always perfect. Note, I use this on a LAN with several computers, and the default port setting (WSD) did not work right. I set up a static IP for the printer and then set up a TCP-IP port on each machine – works like a dream. A nice bonus was finding I could air print from my phone. Highly recommended

I have been using this printer for about 4 months now – GREAT QUALITY PRINTING! – BUT I have only been able to use the BYPASS Tray for feeding paper to the printer. The printer recognizes Tray 1 exists, but no matter what I change for the specifications of the tray – the printer sees it as never having any paper available to pull for printing. The printer does not have a Tray 2.

I am still learning all of the features, even after a year, because it has many capabilities. I am probably using 50% of it potential.
