It is easy to use features. My wife use it for use in reducing and enlarging material for her class at school. It is much more economical to use than a ink jet printer. It is easy to scan tand to print or to send printed copies via email..

Purchased this for small business setting, specs are fabulous, fast startup, printing, duplexing, high toner capacity, true workhorse on paper. When the printer works, it is a best but I find myself having to factory reset the printer once every 6 weeks as network settings or paper size settings freeze and make printer unusable. Additionally, the network scanning is buggy and sometimes spam faxes will jam up the memory causing a need to reboot. The paper tray gears are plastic and wore down after one year so I have been using the bypass tray as the cost for replacement of a new tray has me considering purchasing a different printer. This has potential, maybe mine is a lemon but I find I have spent way too many hours diagnosing and fixing it that it has more then wiped out the time savings in the print speed.

This product is just what I need. I love the speed and the features. With the jobs that I have to do and the turn-around time that I have this printer is a must for me. I love that it doe the job and I have no issues with frequent jams. The two sided printing is phenomenal. The price is a great price for the printer. NUT the printer cartridges are absolutely too expensive. They cost more than the printer.

Please try and make the scanning and printing more user friendly. There are options that could be made easier to use; i.e. copying pages, etc.

Everything but the networking features are excellent. I had to go old school and use an online interface to setup the machine so it could be found on the network. Also, scanning to email was a difficult one to crack. I’m not an IT person so it took me a few hours.

generally the first scan doesn’t work- second one generally does did not want it wired but installer said i had to thought my workcentre 6505 was great but upgraded

The only downside is networking setup is a bit tricky and the manuals are all online. You have to hunt for the manuals.

The scanner doesn’twork, and none of the online information has helped. When I have time, I will try again to download fixes, but so far nothing has worked. Printing is most of what I do, and that feature is excellent. But I hate having to go elsewhere to scan.

This all in one does everything. It’s fast. It’s print quality is outstanding. It’s ease of use is excellent. My only complaint is the Scanner. It is beyond my experience to set it up. I am not an IT person. I use this device at home. I also don’t like the fact that there is no program to install on my computer so I can pick scan from computer. From everything I see, it has to be done on the WorkCentre’s control panel. Other than that, it’s wireless, It’s a nice looking WorkCentre. I love it.

Print quality is fine on both standard paper and card stock, it’s getting there that is the problem. I often have to make several attempts to print, get a non-specific error message, delete from print queue, lather, rinse, repeat before I’m able to print successfully. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes I have to walk to the printer and manually wake it up from sleep mode. Sometimes a PDF that won’t print from my browser will print fine if I save it and print from Reader. There’s no reason for this behavior. It’s a huge waste of my time.

Pros: Hardware, paper transport and low jam rate make this printer dependable and solid. Cons: I have to resinstall the drivers at least 3-4 times per month, at times more because it loses its connection to any pc on the home office network. Scan to folder on a pc has never worked, and support on this was non existent.

Twice in the last week my printer has stopped printing my paperwork.

This printer prints great and was easy to setup. The toner, even though we only use the extra-high capacity, is so expensive and we conserve print jobs on this printer and economy-printing in ON.

I have been a Xerox user since their first dry copier days when I worked in NYC They have kept their reputation over the years. I used a Xerox color laser printer at home connected to a local PC and to work office network via satellite never had a problem in 15 years of usage. Finally replaced it with a Workcentre 6515 that can be also used as a copier, which saves space in the new home office in our condo that we downsized to recently. We keep busy with church activities such as printing weekly bulletins and financial reports for our church

The quality of this printer is great. It prints fast and the quality of the print is very good. I loved the warranty and the customer care. My drawback was that I needed a fax only line to get the fax machine to work so I sent it back because I didn’t want to spend the money on a dedicated fax only phone line. The return was hassle free and CDW was very prompt in sending me a return label. I think this is printer is meant for a business that has a pretty good IT department.

This device works great! Ink and toner last a long time and rarely have other issues with it.
