Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

My experience could have been better if the scanning software had been included. I work at a school and we are not allowed to download any programs to our computers. I could not use it for a long time waiting on my IT department to find a software and install it for me. Once I was able to use the product, it is great. The print quality is good, the scanning speed is good.

The Xerox Workcentre 6515 is a good printer all around. It is difficult to setup some features and requires a little bit of knowledge with setting printers up as well. To me the colors reproduced are subpar. The blacks are very light to begin with but can be adjusted. I think this type of thing should be tested and programed correctly from production. The touchscreen in very bright but responsiveness is very sluggish at times. Faxing is simple but seems to need 3 confirmations of entering the number before it will fax unless I am missing a feature to require less. Copying is very simple and onscreen features make it easy to perfect a copy. Scanning to the computer I struggled with. No matter what I tried, it took watching many tutorials online to figure what I had to do. Very Confusing. I like the printer but not what I would expect coming from a Dell Printer User.

I especially like this product because it is self-explanatory. It sleeps when not in use and responds quickly when it is used. Xerox 6515 gives the user more efficient ways to get daily work items as well as items for special situations done.

The experience of setting this up was relatively easy. I did have some issues with its power requirements–it needs to be almost on its own outlet. However, I’ve had this issue in the past with real office printers. Setting up the wifi on it was pretty easy. I am concerned about the cost of toner cartridges, but they’re always much more expensive than pigments/inks for inkjets. I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.

The quality of the printer is what you would expect from a company like Xerox, very good. The only problem I have is that I am a one PC user, and this printer was designed to be a network printer. Can’t use the USB connection to drive it directly from your computer. Must use a wired and/or wireless network to drive the printer. Scanned documents must first go to a shared folder, then moved to the folder you needed it to go in. Not as simple as the simple printers I had owned in the past. I have had problem with my PC & the print drivers, but that was mostly due to a failing Hard Drive. I recommend this printer for moderately advanced user.

A lot of features for the anyone on a limited budget. It was actually cheaper than my original dot-matrix printer. I really like the ability to print double sided, add a second paper tray, the choice between ethernet or wifi, and the ability to save to, or import from, a USB device. I highly recommend this model for any small business or even a home office. I also recommend the free Xerox eConcierge Program, including free maintenance and repair service, for supplies reordering.

The 6515 multi-function printer is a great value for all it’s features. Both color and monochrome printing are crisp and vibrant. The printing speed is awesome and no long wait during initialization. I really like the touch screen menu; it’s quick and easy to navigate all the functions and settings. The copy and scan functions are fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend the 6515!

I just purchased a Xerox WorkCentre 6515dni. This is not my first trip down the Xerox “desktop MFP” highway. My last two machines never had a “service” call and both lasted nine or more years. They also cost in the thousands of dollars. This time around, I needed to spend less money but I’m spoiled by the quality I’ve gotten from Xerox before. This machine is absolutely amazing. I expect a lot of my MFPs. I do a lot of color “flyers” that need to be clear and the colors accurate. I couldn’t believe how good this “LED” machine performs, even on plain paper. The print speed is close to my more expensive color Xerox and the scan and copy speed seems to be about the same. Probably the biggest gripe, such as it is, would be the process of setting up some advance features. The out of the box set-up was extremely easy and I was printing wirelessly from my laptop within 15 minutes. By the way, with a little patience (and virtually no calls to Xerox), I was able to set up my advance features to perform the way I wanted them. I’ll be purchasing the 500 sheet accessory for this machine, otherwise, it’s complete as is. I would absolutely recommend this product to someone who wants to spend hundreds instead of thousands and still have an exceptional product!

Pretty good printer. Prints lighter than I like, and i can’t adjust except when making copies. I haven’t been able to get it to scan to my computer as I could with my prior printers.

Purchased the Workcentre 6515 to replace an aging Xerox D100 unit. Installing the printer is easy. Perfect quality Installing the scanner takes hours. The manual is a mess with all kind of links, choices of possibilities that are poorly explained, , super technical issues, no examples, different functional results etc Scan from “windows fax and scan” gives no choice for pdf Scan from printer console is complicated. No easy use of profiles creation and use. Only issue is the cost of toner/ink etc.

I love this printer quality is amazing features are great. The only down falls of this product are setting up network is a bit complex, ie emailing and copying to computer. The other down fall is the media types to print to are limited especially for this day and age of technology!

I really like the way the WorkCentre is so easy to use. I especially like to scan papers onto my computer. The instructions just pop up on my computer and I work the scan mechanism straight from the computer. The copier portion of the machine prints out high-quality copies and fast. There is never a hassle.

With moderate use. My Xerox 6515 has been working fine with occasional lags but fine for the most. Printing quality is excellent. The memory takes a few second to start printing, I expected it to be faster but once it start printing it does it pretty fast. Some times lags for too long and I have to restart it, other than that it is pretty consistent. Setting it up with your network is somewhat difficult. To set it up you pretty much need a tech support or a technician to help you out otherwise it will take too much of your time (hours). It is a good product but it could be better. Needs improvement.

Tired of inkjet printers, slow, sloppy, expensive ink, and multifunction use is difficult?? YOU WONT BE WITH A XEROX WORKCENTER 6515!!!! THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL PRINTER FOR A HOME EVER!!!! I love this printer, it’s the easiest ever. The laser toner cartridges print thousands of pages, and the cost is much lest overall than continually replacing ink jet cartridges. The purchase price is economical, as well as the cost to use. The print is super fast, super sharp. Photo printing is as great as the photo processing at the store. AND, IT PRINTS VIA WIFI FROM ANYWHERE IN MY HOUSE WITH ANY DEVICE!!! Faxing, Scanning, Printing, Emailing, all in one little box and I would never buy anything else but Xerox again! This one multifunctional laser printer has made my life so easy, cost efficient, and downright fun to work with. It is durable, long life, updatable, and I recommend this to anyone out there who is tired of slow, messy, costly, and difficult to use inkjet printers, this this Xerox 6515 Workcenter is what you want for your home.

Overall, this printer is a work-horse. I use two of these printers to service an office staff of about 10-12 employees. The only real issues I have experienced are scanning, logging in as admin and using the setting up the extra paper tray that we purchased . We have set up each individual to be able to scan from the unit direct to their computer using their email address. For some reason, they intermittently disconnect or don’t work, so now we have to pull up the app on the computer, walk to the printer and put our documents down, go back to the computer and hit “scan” then go back and retrieve our documents. As far as the extra paper tray we purchased, I have been unable to successfully set it up to default when the other trays are empty. So basically, the extra tray is just storage for paper, that we have to then physically load into active tray. Lastly, the second printer that we bought we cannot log in with the default admin username and password. I needed to access the admin functions so that I could re-name the printer so there was no confusion between the two that we use. I have try to factory reset to no avail. I have gone through the help faq’s on-line to no avail. Having said all that, despite these few issues, I feel these printers are of good quality and serve our purpose.
