Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. 21st Century workflow has evolved with simplicity of use and the Xerox Phaser 6510 Multifunction Color Printer has kept up with the pace with extreme connectivity with the introduction of mobile device printing. Simply click print with Apple AirPrint. No transferring of files to a computer, a wonderful, “Hooray”, mission accomplished, a stunning printed document awaits you.

The scanner does not work with MacBook Pro running Big Sur OS. A computer running Catalina OS does operate the scanner. Solution: update drivers to accommodate Big Sur

We looked at so many printers. This one had all the features we wanted and it wasn’t too expensive. The price per page is good. It was fairly easy to set up. When you print pdf documents you have to save them first then print them. It doesn’t print wel right from the websit. It has a spot for a thumb drive and allows you to save into folders when you scan a document. It has an economy feature when my documents are more of a work product. Mainly I love that it prints 2 sided quicly.

This printer makes everything easier.

I love the quality of prints from pictures to invoices ! the color is true and dead on, the only downside is the cost of the toner refills, you can buy a new printer cheaper than replacement toner!

Ink is not too costly either; good value. The only thing confusing is the faxing capabilities aren’t too intuitive when creating contacts

The ADF does not work well with 3R photos. 3R photos will jam in the ADF.

Always hate it when I have to replace any items I’m accustomed to using. However, the change to the Xerox WorkCentre 6515 could not have been easier. Not only was it easier to use but it had many additional useful features than my past printer.

Both my Xerox printers stop printing about every other week. They are both seen on the network, but will not print. I have to constantly reboot my server or reinstall the printers before they will allow me to print.

I’m not sure if it’s proper to truly love your tools, but I do. Because they GET ME HOME FOR DINNER ON TIME when they work well! So my new 6515 is the newest edition to my growing family of Xerox products and is working out well so far. I had such good luck with the 6505DN for six years I decided to go with it’s bigger brother in the 6515. And to my complete surprise, the Xerox Concierge program is included, at least at the time of this writing. I actually do not have enough time with the 6515 to provide a full-throated endorsement as of yet. But what I can say is that I didn’t just buy it for the Xerox name, or the price. I bought it because of the awesome performance of its predecessor as well as the service support I received from time-to-time from Xerox. I do expect to be a lifetime Xerox fan.

Have the Xerox WorkCentre 6515 for about 2 years now and it just works great as it is expected from all good and reliable products. I can especially recommend that printer to people who are tired like me of other non reliable brands and products.

I am using this Xerox 6515 in my office and so far its doing great. It is accessed by staff via wifi and print quality is excellent. Prints fast enough to get the job done in a timely manner.

Getting this machine to print is extremely cumbersome. You have to go into the printer setup on EVERY job to choose the type of paper. Printers I have used in the past have the ability to either sense the type of paper or allow you to choose in the layout of Word. You have to touch this printer several times to get it to print. Of course, this could be how our administrator set it up, but if there’s a way to fix this, I would love to know what it is. It is a pain to use the way it is currently set up.

I came to this practice after it was new and everything was already set up. This machine is very user friendly and rarely ever has any issues. I have worked in offices were we constantly have paper jams and problems with very very expensive machines. I have also used a larger machine that was so very slow. This is pretty fast working.

I’ll spare all the details and point out a couple fatal flaws. One, when the machine goes to sleep, it will not wake up. I have to manually power cycle it several times before it wants to work. This is not acceptable. Two, in order to print, you need to first select precise paper size or it the job will go into error. It cannot auto detect paper size to use. For example, I have legal size loaded and when printing a typical 8.5 x 11, I have to manually select legal to print. You’d figure the machine could detect how to proceed.

I’ve used other cheaper brands for years. After breaking the final straw, we decided it was worth trying something a little more expensive. Boy are we happy. The printer is easier to set up, the software is way better than the competitions’ (although there is still room for improvement), and the toner is cheaper. Xerox sells a printer the way it should be sold – feature packed and easy to use.

This is a good product. You will find it difficult to keep connected and for inexplicable reasons. Weather a server is involved or not this has issues resuming from sleep which causes multiple reboots and excessive reprints. The ink that this machine uses is another area of concern. This seems to use a wax-like ink. Almost like it applies a crayon to the paper under high heat. Although the graphics are good you can’t highlight text or write over any of it. Even, a permanent marker has trouble. All in all good, but if you use this where people are expected to print that’s all they can do and you will be purchasing a normal laserjet for the myriad of missing non-print related features of the end product.
