Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

It is a bit slow when doing single copies, I tend to have to wait for the “done” button to come up so I can press that and then make another copy. other than that, I love the machine.

So I’ve only had this printer for a little over a week. I found it pretty easy to set up and its driver installed on MacOS very easily. Certain features I’m having a bit of difficulty fine-tuning (such as using the auto document feeder), but I imagine I’ll pick them up. The printing and scanning are extremely fast (without lengthy warm-up) and also much quieter than past printers I’ve used.

Printer cartridges not reading correctly. Drivers are hard to set up. You almosts need an IT degree to set up. Way too much to decipher on website when looking for help for drivers. I’m not sure I would buy another piece of xerox equipment.

Love this new WorkCentre. It provides great two sided printing and scanning features that work with our Mac and PCs. It also provides easy printing support for the IOS devices. Only negative is the toner cost, I wish it was about 1/2 the current cost.

When I read about this printer no where did i read about if you want to use the WiFi that you need to purchase the WiFi adapter separately. I read where it hooks right up to the internet, BUT IT WON’T. I don’t think I will be purchasing another Xerox product if they cannot be truthful!!!!

I received the printer in good shape, was a little worried about that. This printer performs most everything I need to do, although is doesn’t like laser glossy paper. The interactive display is awesome! It did take a little extra work trying to get the software to work with my computers, but I managed to figure it out. It would be great if there was a video for installing both hardware and software specifically for this printer. Price was awesome. So far, so good!

Xerox is the Iconic name in copiers. This model is problematic. the drivers and software related to this model is non-specific.The printer will duplex but initial software install doesn’t recognize that it will. The printer does not wake on WiFi connectivity consistently. Notifications will not clear and there were error codes within 2 hours of setup. sit does not setup and connect easily. The printer has to be re-discovered and the device re-added to the laptop often. All that said, if you don’t mind the headaches of setup and maintenance, the print quality is great and it is a very nice printer. Bypass tray takes card-stock, and it will duplex. It’s just not very user friendly.

I give this product a good rating as it works well, but not too user friendly. I have to call technology dept. often to assist. I also wish I could scan an item such as a photo and save it to my computer or an USB to print later or print right away. It just lets me scan to send. Then the other person receiving the document/picture does not know who it is coming from or what it is about. I started to change the automatic Xerox name to what I am sending so that helps (if I don’t forget to do it). Just wish the receiver would at least be able to see my email name/address. It would also be nice to receive a confirmation that they received the document as I have no idea unless I call or email them about it. Which as an educator, it is hard to find the time. It may also be that these concerns can be rectified and I am just not aware of how to do it. I would like to see the paper tray be a bit bigger to accommodate more paper. But…other than that, it works well! Colored copies are clear and come out great!

It’s a good printer, fax, and scanner. It prints fast and good quality but the quality is dependent on the type of paper you use. The quality is best with laser specific paper. If you use regular copy/print paper the image quality and color is not what you seen on your screen. Laser printer paper does print out with the color and quality you have on your screen. The ink cartridges are expensive but this will take generic cartridges. The generic ones work great. There is no quality differences between the generic cartridges and OEM ones. The generic ones produce the same on both Laser and Regular paper. Hope this helps.

The WorkCentre 6515 is a truly wonderful printer. I do a lot of printing and I have been very happy with its performance. Print quality is exceptional. I have not learned regarding all of its features, however, I find it easy to use. I would recommend this printer for anyone who is looking for quality of print, especially if one does a lot of printing.
