Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

The 6515 prints great, but every time I want to print to it I have to reinstall the printer because it cannot be found.

The toner yield for this unit leaves a lot to be desired. Even using extra high capacity cartridges my old phaser runs circles around this unit. Also screen responsiveness is quite slow, I would say it needed upgraded hardware. I’ve owned Docucolor commercial units, and a phaser, and they were great but this shouldnt bear the XEROX name at all. Brand new I experienced print quality problems day one. banding issues, coverage issues in solid areas. I enjoyed using EA low melt toner in previous Xerox machines, but this unit doesn’t have a “gloss” option, and that is a must on some of the items i print. I consider this a downgrade from my old phaser

I bought this on Dell with 3 all in one computers. I bought the second tray because of the need for longer sheets of paper along with plain white paper. This printer does not automatically know which tray to use when prompted. I have to go into the printers/scanners section of the computer to manually change it every time. Very inconvenient. It’s a good printer for printing purposes but I bought it because of the multiple tray use.

Our Xerox 6515 WorkCenter simplifies normal daily office chores. I’m an outside oriented worker and for this old curmudgeon to be able to walk into the office, throw a waybill into the scanner, plug my name into the screen, and email a scan to myself for proper filing and forwarding. Incidently, the machine is intuitive and all I need to do is begin typing my first name and it presents me with a quick view of shared users beginning with “Jo” and I touch my name, WaLaa! The printing is easy and settings are simple. Now I just need one at home… Joe

This printer is better than I expected. I knew that since it had the Xerox brand name that it would be a good printer; but, it has exceeded my expectations. It has everything I could want and need. The only drawback that I have about it is that the setup for the different features is not as easy as I expected. Of course, it is the current technology and some of it is past my ability. However, the Xerox technical department is outstanding and had me up and running in a short amount of time.

I really like the scanning feature of this product, especially the ease of doing two sided scanning and faxing quickly. The print quality is excellent. The WorkCentre makes it easy to diagnose and fix little issues which arise. The first item I print during the day is tricky as I have to reboot the WorkCentre to enable to “talk” to my PC. I wish there was a way to make the scanning a little easier so you can know what you’ve scanned without a number. Overall, I really like the WorkCentre 6515, I would recommend this product and it’s certainly an upgrade to the printer/copier/fax/scanner I used to have.

This printer is leaps and bounds better than the ink jets we were using in the office. Beautiful print quality. My only complaint is that when this printer is in sleep for a while, it seems to take a while to respond and “wake up”. Otherwise it’s an amazing printer for the price!

The touch screen is a nice feature upgrade from our previous WorkCentre. I would say the printer was easy to set up and the print quality is nice. Make sure to Buy the Warranty! Overall, I am extremely pleased with the printer and the price point. Xerox has great warranty support and I am always satisfied with the resolution.

I can’t say enogh about this printer, we have used a few printers in the last couple of years. I own a restaurant that changes menus seasonally and changes specials bi weekly so it gets used alot. Fast, great print quality and economical cartridges with a great software package. In my opinion best printer for the money.
