Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

I did a lot of research on purchasing a laser printer, thought this would be right choice for me re: quality, & economically. Seems as though cartridges have had to be replaced earlier than used. Was under impression cartridges would print substantially amount more prior to being replaced. Have had frequent “fault” errors in midst of printing contracts for clients. Been inconvenient. Attempting to print flyers for open houses/just listed/sold…flyers intermittently smeared; not appear clear and professional looking.

This Xerox gets the job done! I would definitely recommend. I work in a restaurant office and we print menus, labels and function sheets daily. Ink lasts long as well and its clean and quick. Bought this Xerox printer (the wireless model) and really enjoying how easy it is to use. The print quality is great and works without issue even when printing from a computer on a different floor of the house. Driver installation is pretty easy too and includes the scanning functionality.

When I retired, I wanted a multi-function, color laser machine that would do everything my large office machine did but in a much smaller size more suitable to the home environment. I found exactly what I needed in the Xerox WorkCentre 6515 DNI. I can copy and/or scan documents manually, using the flatbed, or automatically, using the document feeder. I can fax by entering numbers manually or by accessing the large, integrated Address Book. And when I wish to print from my PC, I can do so using either a USB 3.0 printer cable or a Cat5 or Cat6 Ethernet cable–or even wirelessly using the included wireless module. The clarity, color and sharpness of the print output is outstanding, and the color cartridges last a long time and don’t cost a fortune to replace. All-in-all, I couldn’t be happier with this all-around copy/print/scan/fax solution, the Xerox WorkCentre 6515 DNI.

I find this printer difficult to deal with when changing paper types. The paper selection process slows down the workflow and requires multiple inputs. The tradeoff is quality printing and relatively large toner capacity. The Wi-Fi is nice option for printing from multiple devices or locations.

Since COVID I had to bring the printer home. However, I have a problem every time I try to print. EVERY TIME! I have to call our ISS team at the university and they spend over an hour reconnecting the printer downloading new xerox printer files and updating the printer’s system. It is a nuisance and an inconvenience for my work. I have resulted to going into the office to print, which is not preferable. And when our organization has the office closed due to increases in COVID cases or other issues that call for office closure, I am at a loss. If this problem did not exist, I would have less than minimal problems with this printer.

Overall the quality of this printer is great. It produces clean and crisp print quality and fairly accurate color rendering. The consumables however are quite expensive when considering the number of prints they produce. The printer is also slow to start up and return from sleep mode. Functionality is great and the menus are easy to navigate. Printer was easy to set up and wifi direct connect and mobile printing are a plus.

This printer worked great when it worked. However two failures within 18 month could hardly be a coincidence. First – motherboard had to be replaced (when it was still under warranty} and now the scanner quit working. Seems like quality/ quality control at Xerox is not what it used to be
