I run a small laboratory with 8 students and staff and we all love the Xerox printer. It is easy to use and requires low maintenance.

I had owned a Workcentre 6505 for nearly ten years now and it was showing its age. I loved my 6505 enough to determine I would only look for another Xerox MFP. When I reviewed the 6515, I compared it to any other options and decided to purchase this upgrade to my old unit. It is absolutely beyond any updates and changes I thought the 6505 needed! I live that everything -toner, paper feed and return – faces the front and is so convenient, especially the toner tubes that plug directly into the front. The touchscreen makes the printer much more functional for me, and the web interface makes the whole operation controllable from my laptop. Also, IT’S WIRELESS! I was able to place it where it was most useable rather than where I could plug it in. I like it so well that I will soon purchase another one and a Phaser 6510 to finish replacing all the odd printers in my offices. I HIGHLY recommend this printer!!

We purchased the Xerox 6515 in our office to take the place of two printers we were utilizing. It was super easy on setup and works great! Best decision we could have made.

I have a small insurance agency and our work depends on a reliable printer. This printer meets and exceeds what we need to operate professionally.

13 months in and the printer takes a dump. $400 to fix, one month out of warranty.

I’ve got a bunch of these in my office locations. I like Xerox. I like this printer. Great output, etc. However, the transfer belt destroys itself at around the 16-18 month period, of course after the warranty is up. I’ve had 3 of these occurrences out of about 10 of these that I have. So it’s a lot more than just one off bad luck. The replacement part is not a user consumable part (although we are technical enough to change it) and the part which I can buy costs the same as a whole new printer. Xerox needs to either fix this defect or offer free repairs as it’s gotten to the point I will no longer purchase this model.

Our small marketing office uses color laser printers daily. We have been through several from HP, Lexmark and Brother. This XEROX printer is simply better. Pricing is similar to other brands. The toner cartridges are pricey, but not so are the other brands. We do like that this printer recommends and order for supplies and even fills out the order form. We used to think that a XEROX was only for larger companies, but this machine is affordable for the small or medium sized office or department. I recommend…

Much easier to set up and use than the previous version of the same printer, and much faster.

I’ve been using this printer for a couple of years for printing on self-adhesive labels, marketing collateral, and general office printing. My print sizes are from 4×6 (postcard), #10 envelopes, double sided 8×10 flyers and brochures (Libre Office), and 8×14 labels (legal size) with print weight up to cardstock. The print quality is superb. Alignment is very tight. My label designs are in Photoshop RGB/16 bit. When I print I set the Color Handling to Printer Manages Colors. Under Printer Settings Printer Features I select Print Quality: Enhanced. I also like the fact it works with my Fedora Linux workstation and Windows as a Guest with Virtualbox. Scanning and the document feeder works well. The only feature I don’t use is Fax.

This is a good printer, as long as the scanner or the email functions are not required to complete a task.

The printer works great, but it seems to reset its network settings frequently so that computers must frequently search again for the printer and reinstall it. Adding to this, the drivers often fail to load properly. Perhaps this is because I use the printer on a home network that is not very sophisticated. In summary, the printer is not easy to use. I have owned previous Xerox printers and this has never before been a problem. I like Xerox printers. They last forever. I will probably buy one again and hope that it has fewer driver or software problems. If so, I would be happy to once again recommend it to friends. For now, it is too much of a hassle and almost a “hobby” printer.

I purchased my WorkCentre 6516 over a year ago and I am completely satisfied with the purchase. I am so happy not to have to purchase new ink cartridges every time I needed to print. The ink would always be dry or the ink was dry on the print head. I love that I can go a month or two without printing and then hit it hard when needed and this printer is up to the task. Love it.

This printer was plopped down on my desk with no instruction. Didn’t even come with much of a manual. It either doesn’t or I can’t figure out how to scan and send more than one page at a time and then it’s not even a PDF. It often just decides that it wants to print from the by pass tray instead of the default paper tray without me even touching a button. Why? I don’t know if I have access to a Xerox help desk or if I have to pay for that service. I’ve had IT from my work try to troubleshoot and they can’t resolve any issue I’m having. I don’t think it has to be this hard and would love some HELP!

The print quality is good on this printer and scanner works good. The only issue I have with it is every time I go to use it I have reload the drivers. It is very possible that the issue is on my end but everything will be good for awhile and then I have to reload the drivers again to use the printer/scanner. It also wants to print a test page every time you turn it on which seams highly unnecessary. Overall it has been very good though and done everything that I have needed it too. I would purchase again.

For the most part, this printer works well. The print quality is good. Changing ink cartridges is easy. It is fast. It also seems to fall on its face far too often. It may work perfectly for a few weeks, then it just falls offline or quits working. If you turn it off, it takes a looong time to do whatever it does before it finally turns off and then a long time to reboot. I have just started unplugging it when it fails. As least that saves the long shutdown. The user controls are not very intuitive to me (I have been using computers since the late 1960s). It seems the software was written during amateur hour or something. When I buy another printer, I will very likely not be a Xerox.

this is fast and easy to use product, didn’t take long to set up and the print quality is great.

I bought the Xerox 6515 DNI because I’m a former Xerox multifunction device owner and this current device is so feature rich and the color output is fast and brilliant. This is an excellent product for my home office and it has many of the same features as the big corporate office multifunctional devices. Great job Xerox!!!

Print quality is excellent, overall a great printer. A little slow to first page but then prints at a decent speed. Would recommend and would buy again.

The speed and quality of the printing is great. My frustration come in the printer constantly going to sleep or logging me out on its own. I have reset the sleep timer with no help. I wish I could use my contact that are already in my computer to email. Right now I have had to put my own email in the contracts in order to email myself a scan to then forward. Because it constantly signs me out, it take even longer to use the one contract I have saved (my own email). Made the mistake of changing the tray setting to bypass to do labels, now I can not default to the lower tray for 8″ by 11″ paper.

I really am impressed with the speed and quality of this printer. My only issue was that it needs to be part of a network which I was unaware of. I got this issue resolved and have been very happy with the results.
