Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

This printer is not as complicated to set up as I’ve read, and I found the user interface to be rather intuitive. It took us no longer than 10 minutes to get the printer up and running. Cartridges, like other color printers, will be the money sink and your spend will, of course, depend on how you use the printer. The print quality of pictures isn’t quite resolving enough for photography use, but that’s not the main focus on this printer (most printers that claim are capable of printing photo-quality images frankly suck). I’d recommend this printer to anyone looking for a solid color printer for small office use.

Easiest change of toner cartridges ever for a tabletop printer. Many features of a full size copier. When the copier/scanner was down the WorkCenter filled the void.

Periodically the printing stops. Also, I can’t scan at all.

We’ve had the WorkCentre 6515/DNI for over a year now and being a small office and it suits our needs very well. The small footprint is nice and has all the options we need on a daily basis. The air printer works great! Haven’t used the USB function yet, but it’s there for when we do need it. The touchscreen is easy to read and operate. The toners that came with the unit lasted longer than we expected and are easy to replace in the machine and the cost doesn’t break the bank. Scanning through the feeder can be touchy at times, so turning the documents 180 degrees in the feeder seems to resolve the problem. Would definitely recommend.

4 of them brand new stops middle of scanning. grabs, 2 papers at a time. Replaced auto feeder assembly on one of them. Still issue and broke within a year. Very much disappointed.

I bought this particular printer a while back and it has been working beautifully. I needed to buy another printer just like it for a coworker and there was none to find thru normal channels. I widen my search and turns out that B&H has printers!!! And in stock for delivery!!! This is one of those straight-out-of-left-field moments. Who knew a photo/video/audio store would have printers. Suffice it to say that I made my purchase and I am super happy.

The printer is cost-effective, fast for its purpose and reliable. It duplicates great without a problem, installed on my network very easily and the software is great for managing the printer anywhere and connecting to all of my devices including smart-phones and Ipads. The software also manages the ink levels so that I will not be without ink. Don’t use cheap paper in the printer, I made that mistake and I regretted it. The scanner is great, as you can scan both sides and it is fast! The fax works fine, however, I have not used that very much. The downsides to the printer are: * The main printer tray only holds about 250 sheets, I bout the optional tray (recommended) * The toner is expensive, however I like that if you buy your toner from Xerox, the printer is covered under warranty for as long as you buy your supplies from them * The software needs to be updated to take advantage of some of the new and interesting applications I saw online. There is no information on software upgrades for this purpose only the VersaLink printers.

I got this printer to replace a 20 year old Xerox color laser that was in my home office. Part of the reason that I went back to Xerox was the fact that the prior unit was a great printer and it lasted 20 years! I found the features of the 6515i to be outstanding, copy, fax, scan and of course print are all excellent. Compared to my old technology, this printer is fantastic, easy to setup, easy to use and I love the fact that I can print from my iPad and iPhone using the wireless feature. Print quality is excellent. First page out is a bit pokey when the energy savings is enabled but it is acceptable for the volume that I produce in my home office. I highly recommend this printer. Great printer, great price!

My colleague purchased the WorkCentre 6515 for our office a couple months ago. I have no complaints whatsoever about the print quality or really any other physical functions of the machine. However, most of the staff at the office have had consistent issues with the user interface (it is not user friendly). And I have had connectivity issues– it won’t stay connected to my desktop no matter how many times I’ve restarted both devices or reinstalled drivers and updates. It’s a pretty frustrating device.

This is my second one, used at both of my companies and I like it for its ease of use, print quality and cost. The toner is relatively inexpensive and pretty long lasting. The app on my laptop keeps me up to date on supplies needed. I’ve been relying on the printer much more these days due to the fact that i need to print my own menus for our restaurant every day so it’s good to have a reliable copier.

Year after year I found myself buying another “new” inkjet printer to replace the one I bought the year before. Each year it was the same story, I’d buy an inexpensive package at Thanksgiving or Christmas sales. Then 1-2 months later I would find myself buying new ink cartridges (multi-color and black) that cost almost as much as the printer itself. My choices were either pay high dollar for the manufacturer’s cartridge or enter the world of messy inkjet refill kits. For the unlikely spells when I could go without color printing for a month, I inevitably came back to a printer with dried out cartridges or worse ones that leaked everywhere. I had a Xerox Docuprint N17 black and white laser printer that had served me faithfully for over a decade. Over the years I wanted to try a color laser but could never find one at the right price point…until NOW!! I am very happy with the WorkCentre 6515. You won’t print glossy photos on this, that is still something inkjets do better. But for standard color printing this can’t be beat. I like the multiple options for scanning. Initial configuration of the fax and e-mail capabilities feel more complicated than they should be but once you get it configured it works great. The only other improvement I’d make would be for the bottom tray to store a full 500 page ream of paper.

It is cheaply made. It eats through ink cartridges. The service is outrageously expense.

When my old printer died, I did a lot of research to get the features I needed and possibly adding more,. and this printer had it all at a reasonable price.

Prints great and does what I want it to do but the set-up on product is not user friendly. Cant figure out how to turn off two sided printer default.

Color pdf scans are approx. 1.5MB per page. WorkCentre app not very useful in adjusting settings. Preview does not provide actual preview. Only 200 DPI pdf scans work, other settings provide garbage results.

Quite sturdy, fast and reliable, this printer has it all going, and at such low price you can-t go wrong with it. works seamlessly with all computers and phones, supplies like toners ain’t hard to come by and last quite long. Would probably buy another one for the office.

Although the quality of the print is good, it prints too slow.
