Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

I purchased this printer to replace the all-in-one inkjet printer I had because the ink kept drying out before I could use it all. This printer is so much better than the inkjet. Pages print quicker, look better, and don’t run. It has the ability to add different users, different network locations to scan to, and all the abilities (and more) of the comparable inkjet printer. But, your ink doesn’t dry out! I highly recommend this printer!

It is good color printer and can do good load work. However the ink is unrealistically expensive. In a business environment, one year of maintenance will cost more than its original price.

We bought this as a home/office printer hoping to upgrade from the past printers we bought that inevitably were slow and broke down after a year or two. This is a great printer but we bought it not realizing that when it is in use it draws a lot of amps. It has a great energy saving feature. However, when we tried using it while running a window air conditioner it would trip the circuit breaker. Probably an issue unique to our particular home’s electrical system. Otherwise that is the only minor complaint.

This printer is a TRUE Work Horse.

The print is very sharp and easy to read. The spooler lets us print multiple copies which is real time saver. Photos are sharp and vibrant even on plain paper. If you need a good home or small office printer the Work Centre 6515 is a good choice. We set ours up to be accessible from two computers through our wifi router. The instructions to use the router option were very easy to follow which made the process very quick and easy.

I had my old printer in my office replaced with the 6515 Work Center and I could not be more pleased. The quality is excellent, there was nothing to the setup and there have been no maintenance issues with it at all. I have not had to use the customer service so I can’t speak to that however, not having to contact customer service in itself is a narrative on how easy it is to set up and use.

This is one of the best printers we have had, and one of the worse. Although print quality is good, the printer will often stop and pause waiting for input because of a mismatch in paper size according to the message. This sometimes involves a PDF file made to A4 paper size being printed on letter size. However most often the printer indicates that it is waiting for 8.5x11inch paper when that is what is loaded and the default paper size is letter. So very frustrating. Will never buy another Xerox because of the way the software is designed.

I would not recommend the 6515 or purchase it again. -If you want to scan, be prepared to be frustrated. After trying hours to set up scanning by any mode I gave in and called Xerox support. They were pleasant and helpful, but even the experts took hours to help me get it set-up. The second tech I spoke with had to undo a mistake the first tech made. -The documentation that came with the machine was useless to set-up scan. Online documentation was not very helpful, either. -Once it was set-up for scan-to-email it has worked well. -For comparison it took my son less than 10 minutes to set up our cheap B&W Brother all-in-one for wireless printing and scanning. -Even though the machine works fine now, it was a costly mistake in terms of set-up time to buy the 6515. -I would not recommend it or purchase it again.

Great machine. Excellent on ink and fast. I just really wish it wasn’t giving me an error with PDF files right now. I can’t print PDF from my PC at the moment which cripples my workflow. I’ve tried multiple solutions to no avail yet. Until last week I gave this machine a full 5 stars because otherwise it’s the best printer I’ve worked with in over 30 years.

Purchasing the 6515 was one of the best decisions we have ever made. IT was not the easiest to program but once it was done it does everything we ask it to do. I hope it never wears out but, if it does I hope the 6515 is still available.

We have had a LOT of issues with print quality recently in regards to color prints. Correct toner cartridges have been used and the colors are not even close to what they should be. I have tried all of the recommended “fixes”, including color registration and calibration. Neither of these resulted in positive results.

The unit is very large, takes up a lot of space. Printer cartridges are quite expensive. Many paper jam errors without a paper jam. Offline daily.

This is a personal printer used for our ranch and home… can’t say enough good about it. It has exeeded my expectations, prints beautifully, fast easy to use… my prints are clear, don’t fade or run and fabulous color

Well made quality all in one machine. It’s only fault is the inability to adjust incoming fax defaults.

This product was acquired through our IT department to replace a previous MFP. I was initially impressed by the overall appearance and only later discovered it to be absolutely impossible to print two sided without an additional add on. The option of flipping and reloading the paper is blocked through the software presumably to sell more duplexers. I also have to go press a button to wake it up in order for it to accept print jobs from remote devices. It’s acceptable as a basic device. However, I feel the lack of a standard duplexer severely hurts it’s functionality.

Can’t figure out how to use the scanner to scan to our computer. Feeds too many pages at a time. Paper jams constantly.
