Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

The color printing isn’t what I expect from Xerox but everything else is very good.

These printers are very capable and the auto duplexing is great. We had the previous generation of this printer for several years until we had an electrical issue that fried it.

I’ve owned this machine for almost two years, purchased April 2020. For our small business (2 people working from home) it was exactly what we needed – we especially appreciated the ADF and single pass dual sided scanning. Sadly by 18 months of use, the scanner quit functioning with an error code of 062-380, followed almost immediately by error 062-386. I followed all the directions for troubleshooting the scanner issue, but it simply will not work. And the repair costs for this machine are almost as expensive as the machine was to start. I am deeply disappointed – I have had years of reliable use out of Xerox MFP machines for larger businesses for over a decade, and thought that this MFP would be ideal. IF the scanner worked again, it would get 5 stars.

When my old printer/scanner/copier bit the dust, my local computer center suggested the WorkCentre 6515 as a replacement. I totally trust them, so I went with it. What a great choice! I now have a wonderful little home office with a printer/scanner/copier just like in a big office! I am really spoiled … it does EVERYTHING (I especially like that it prints on two sides) … I couldn’t get along without it! It is a joy to use!

This printer worked just like it should. It is big and heavy but I works amazing. Colors are spot on and it prints fast no problems and I had it for almost a year now!

All is good but the wireless function is like a roller coaster. If you turn off the pc then turn it back on the printer stops talking with the pc. The sync of the two sometimes works mostly not. We have to wire the printer to the pc’s to have consistency.

Great GUI for configuration and management.

Print Quality is good. Unfortunately it makes it very difficult to choose paper sources. For example, when using the bypass tray it must be selected on both the printer and the desktop when printing. There is no intuitive setting that knows once the bypass tray is loaded to use it and trust I choose the correct format from the desktop. Also, you then need to change back all settings to use the regular tray. Waste of time and energy.

I was excited to finally steer away from HP after years of failed print heads. I understood Xerox to be a solid product worth investing into. Since my purchase I have had multiple issues that have limited my ability to use the product at maximum. My first issue arrived after attempting to print over 100 pages consecutively. After 25-40 pages the printer would jam continuously. Second issue was when I purchased the add on internet equipment. Limited instructions had me installing and reinstalling software before getting the printer to work again. Many wasted hours for something as simple as equipment meant to plug in and connect. Last week I setup my printer to print color pictures on specialty paper. Not only did the pictures never print but I have not been able to use it to print ANYTHING since without an error code that I have not yet been able to resolve. So far like the HP printers I have owned and purchased over the last 20 years, this too has spent more time as a heavy paperweight and less time functioning property without issues as a printer.

Awesome printer. Very good print quality. Fast enough for my needs. I couldn’t get it to scan consistently to wired PC. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to get manual feed to accept anything but 8.5 x 11. Wifi printing very reliable.

the best printer I have used so far, it almost has everything I need for a printing, full color photo quality, non inkjet, double side scan double side print, fax, network print, and printing speed, but only thing it can’t do is print the check size paper, and can’t do borderless print. and when doing the double side print, the print on the back side is little bit off, not on same center point of the other side, unless you do it manually. but anyway I have to say the printting quality is amazing. and the speed is pretty good.

Overall it’s a fair printer. Copying is ok, speed is ok, quality of print is ok. Scanning is the problem. The sheet feeder more often than not grabs more than one page to scan. Doesn’t seem to matter what kind of paper. Also some of the invoices we receive from our customers are just slightly larger than 8.5″ wide. The sheet feed does not open wide enough to handle them. And lastly the scanning head had to be replaced after about 8 months of use. The technician told us not to use any type of cleaner, not even plain water to clean the scanning surface other wise the scanner misreads the document.

we have a network for our staff and all stations have a xerox printer. They are reliable and workhorse units.

The printer hooked up to our network quickly and it prints fast from all of our computers. It copies & scans very fast too. The memory is rather small for saved jobs. The main problem is it will print the correct colors on the first few pages of a large print job, then the colors will start to slowly change with the following pages. Sometimes it will go back to the correct colors if it sits for a while, but not always. Occasionally the print job will start out with the wrong colors and we have to adjust and test several pages to get it close to correct.

This printer was very easy to set up and install on my Dell Computer. It responds very quickly to the print command. The print quality is amazing. I would recommend this printer to all.

The printer is very good in terms of its speed and capacity, but there are a few things to consider. First, the ink is rather expensive, much more so than comparable printers. Second, if you have eConcierge services, you are expected to purchase a certain amount of printer supplies each year to keep your eConcierge services active. However, what if in a certain year you don’t use the printer as much as you anticipated, at least not enough to use up even one toner cartridge? It is possible, and it could lead you to spending more, or at least more earlier, than you anticipated. Third, the scanner capability often jams. For example, if you try to more than 6 or 7 pages by using the paper feeder, the feeder will not infrequently grab two pages and jam, and the scan will be lost.

We purchased the printer prior to the Covid 19 issues. It is a great printer and now with the release of the new user interface software we downloaded it made all the difference for us using it in a scan/print/copy wireless small business environment.
