Make sure your business has all the tools it needs with this WorkCentre 6515/DNI All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing capabilities. A very capable printer, it features a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp documents as well as impressive speeds of up to 30 ppm in simplex or 18 ppm in duplex. It also features a variety of methods for handling media, including a 250-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, if connected to a network through the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, users can even print remotely from their mobile devices.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the implementation of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed as well as the 50-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF that supports media up to 8.5 x 14″. This scanner unit features an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and even has a built-in OCR for creating searchable documents. Along with these features, a color touchscreen is present for intuitive operation while a front USB port allows users to print from and scan to a portable storage device. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with a standard USB 3.0 interface for direct connection to a computer.

This printer does a nice job when it works. It seems to fall off line at random times (like when you need it most). Sometimes, it just won’t wake up. Sometimes, it faults and wants you to wait five minutes while it tries to figure out what happened. Trying to decode some of the “user” messages is a bit challenging. I have been using computers since I used an old ASR33 (Teletype) terminal, so I do have some experience. So when it works (which is most of the time), it does a great job. It is fast and the output looks very good. When it won’t wake up or when it goes belly up (faults), it is frustrating to try to coax back to life. I have only printed and scanned with it. Would I buy another Xerox? No. Sometimes, I wonder if the software was written by the winner of some amateur hour contest.

Good multifunction that copies quickly, does a good job of scanning, and is a solid printer. The WiFi setting are complicated, and the set up was much more complex than other printers. May be because this one wants to do a lot of things for you. Overall a solid buy.

We bought this printer for a small business. We often print PDFs, Excel worksheets, and colored designs. The first problem we encountered was the color. We couldn’t get accurate color to print from the this printer. Once one of the Xerox components that was controlling these settings was uninstalled and let Windows 10 control it, we were able to get our printouts to be correct. Now the issue is the delay in printing. Sometimes, the printer will print as soon as we send a job, other times, it takes 2-3 minutes for the jobs to actually print. We especially find this true if we are printing from Excel…which is odd since it’s not a picture. We also have to wait for the printer to “wake up” between each print job which adds to the delay. Overall, we have been frustrated with this printer and are strongly considering returning it.

I have purchased this printer about 4 to 5 months ago for my home office. So far I love working with it! The print quality is great and it is pretty fast if you are printing large quantities. It is not noisy and you can fit it on a large desk. I would highly recommend this printer.

Overall great product with some faults: It is fast and full of nice features. The scanner and copier and two sided capability are great features. 1. The printer often will not print PDF files and must be reset. 2. Toner refills are very expensive. 3. Paper tray #2 was difficult to figure out how to adjust/setup. 4. Apps are limited and new apps cannot be added

This printer developed a problem in the software in regards to printing. I had to repeatedly uninstall the device and the drivers and then reinstall them to print one time. Then it would go offline and would not go back online. Two Xerox dealers refused to help.

We have owned this printer for a little over a year and by far – the worst printer ever! It is difficult to use, print quality has been horrible and we have had issue after issue with it – to the point where currently – when using it – there is a loud horrible noise and can’t even get a print out of it. It is ONLY A YEAR OLD!!! I am ready to throw it away and buy a different printer altogether!

I bought this because I needed a high quality MFP device. I am a CPA/Attorney, and my son is a graphic artist. The efficiency of this printer is excellent, and the use of consumables is very lean. I had a 6605 before this, and this one is a tremendous upgrade. I donated the 6605 to a charity, so I feel good about my efforts. The 6515 is a superb device, either for home, home office or small business. Do not hesitate to get one.

I’ve used my new machine for about a year, and it has done really well as a printer, does well for small copying jobs (I rarely copy things), and it scans well. I still haven’t been able to link the WorkCentre to my computer to support scanning and I am still using a flash drive. It goes offline intermittently, which can be fixed easily by restarting my computer but it is an inconvenience. It seems like Xerox should be able to develop seamless and easy integration into small office IT networks. Great printer/copier/scanner, tough IT integration.

This printer scans really fast and prints fast. The print quality is very good although the colors do not match what I see on the screen. That could be a calibration issue. It will print cardstock paper, but it tends to jam on the second side, but with care you can make it do it. However, my biggest problem seems to be that it either draws too much power or generates too much electrical noise. I have installed the printer on a circuit by itself and added an electrical noise filter to resolve this issue, but it still makes my lights flicker when turned on and occasionally trips my UPS on a different circuit due to power quality issues. Perhaps it should not be used in a home office. Since it does do what it needs to do, I have decided to keep it in spite of my difficulties, but it is hard to recommend for a home office.

The WorkCentre 6515 works great. It prints fast, it prints in a large variety of fonts, you don’t need to change the toner cartridge very often, and most importantly, it’s a work-horse and it doesn’t break down. Initially, it costs a few more bucks than the typical printer that someone would purchase for their home, and the toner cartridges cost a little more money, but in the long run it actually saves you money and it’s actually a lot less expensive to use than the typical printer. Once you’ve owned one of these, you would be very happy that you purchased it.
