This printer was pretty easy to set up. I am pretty technical, but I think the hardest part was know ho far to pull the tab on the toner cartridge. Getting the printer on the network was simple with the provided instructions and once it was on the wireless network the wireless printing was a breeze.

My old printer died, so I needed a new one … at an affordable price … and I needed it quickly. The Xerox printer met my needs … the price was well in line … and it landed on my doorstep when I absolutely had to have it … and the on-line ordering process was very user friendly.

Very pleased with this product, suits my needs perfectly. Fast, quiet, small footprint, crisp output, reasonably large capacity, prints double-sided, prints envelopes via bypass tray, not unattractive, inexpensive to buy and maintain. Perfect.

I follow the instructions to install the printer and didn’t work on wi-fi, I called B&H support and the result was the same – it didn’t work. I spent hors on this and can’t make it connect to wifi. This printer is useless and Xerox should be ashamed to release such a product. I’m a mac user and this printer do not work online – wifi at all. Do not buy it. I am sending it back to B&H.

I love the printer it works from our computers and phones. If you buy one i would recommend you get a full toner cartridge as well. the starter one it comes with is good for 25-50 pages.

Turning on the printer will make it print its status page, but when I go to print something from my computer, status not available. (If the printer’s turned off, it says printer is offline.) When something does print, the paper always jams. I’m not exaggerating – when there’s more than two pages in there, it immediately jams. Every single time. I had to print something with 5 pages and I had to feed paper in 2 sheets at a time. (The paper feed doesn’t seem to hold a lot of paper, anyway.) It was too late (over 30 days) to return it when I finally had the time to try it, so I’m kinda… screwed, I guess. 🙁 I have forms to fill out but not enough money to buy another printer.

Not only does the WiFi feature not work (I spent hours on the phone with Xerox technical support, and even they could not fix it), but the USB cord is also terrible. Nine times out of ten, the USB cord finds no connection with our laptops. That means I can’t print anything, whether with a USB or the WiFi feature. Save yourself the trouble and buy a better quality printer.

I bought this to replace what is virtually an identical printer but with the Samsung label when that device began to act flaky after 5 1/2 years of service. The Xerox version is slightly different in that it requires a different toner cartridge but otherwise is the same device, with identical documentation and setup procedures. Setup is pretty straightforward (at least from a Mac), but you do need to read through all the pages of the software to find the setting to disable the printer’s startup configuration page. Finding that setting took longer than the rest of the process! Print quality is superb and this newer model is quieter and doesn’t seem to suffer from the strange relationship to power that the older Samsung/HP variant did (on startup, there seemed to be a bit of a power surge). Thumbs up.
