Boost the productivity of your office with the print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities of the VersaLink C405/DN All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox. A fast and efficient printer, the C405 can reach speeds of up to 36 ppm with ease and features duplex printing at up to 24 ppm. Your documents will be sharp with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and you can print a variety of common sizes from 3 x 5″ up to 8.5 x 14″. Also, by offering both a 150-sheet bypass and a 550-sheet input tray, users will have plenty of media before running out and can load multiple types at the same time.
Scanning, copying, and faxing are made possible through the use of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed and a 50-sheet single-pass duplex ADF. An optical scan resolution is useful for producing sharp imagery in a variety of file formats and built-in character recognition can help users quickly search files after they are scanned.
For easy, intuitive operation the C405 has a large 5″ touchscreen LCD. Also, an easy-access USB port is available for walk-up printing and scanning. This unit is designed to last with a rated monthly duty cycle of 80,000 pages. Additionally, it features both USB 3.0 and Ethernet connectivity.

I picked this multiuse printer for our work office because it can scan both sides at once and we are in the process of transferring our records to digital. I love how quickly it scans or makes copies. I also love that I can quickly scan documents directly to my desktop or to a flash drive. Other employees can print to my unit while in the building from their phone or laptop. The picture quality is wonderful. Very few jams, mostly when scanning large documents (over 50 pages.)

It doesn’t provide a confirmation page after you send a fax. If you put the paper in the machine, you have to get up to reset the system.

This is the best printer I have found in a while! I have been using many other printer brands that are like this printer including Konica Minolta and Canon, and this tops all that! This printer prints 2-sided, fast, easy, scans, faxes, the whole package! One recommendation though is that make the printer set up a little easier. Not a problem with me since this is for a tech support company. I cannot have asked for anything better for this price tag – small, meets and beats standards, everything! 5 stars!

The machine is not user friendly. Switching between printing on paper and printing envelopes was the worst experience I have ever encountered. Also, printing on copy paper and then printing on checks was not automatic. If you switched the kinds of paper, you had to reset the machine, even if they were the same size. If you ever had a jam, which was often, you can forget about resetting it. You had to unplug the machine to reset. When you did this, you lost everything in the print queue. Finally replaced it with a Brother machine and it has performed remarkedly.

This printer is used to support a small business and is excellent. It is easy to set up and works like a charm. There have been no maintenance issues in the months that this printer has been in use. This printer replaced both a Brother laser printer (which was good) and an HP laser printer (which was terrible) and is more than capable of handling the workload of both printers. This is the only printer that I have ever reviewed and it is also the only printer that I intend to use for the business going forward,

I do not like just the touch screen, often does not recognize that you are touching it. I also do not like the fact that to change settings that you have to do this on line, you should be able to do this without having to connect to the internet. I also think the machine should come with a book which tells you how to use the machine, not everyone has time to sit on the internet and look for information on how something works, would be much quicker to look through index in an instruction manual to find what you are looking for, especially if your internet connection is excessively slow.

B&H was great at notifying me when this printer became available. Purchased and arrived a few days later. Easy set-up! Just be prepared to have 2 people to lift up out of box! (weights around 50lbs) . Prints great! (black, white & color) Big difference from an Ink Jet printer! Highly recommend this printer. One last thing is that you want to plug this unit into a dedicated power source being it draws allot of power when it turns on. (most laser printers need a dedicated power source).
