Boost the productivity of your office with the print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities of the VersaLink C405/DN All-in-One Color Laser Printer from Xerox. A fast and efficient printer, the C405 can reach speeds of up to 36 ppm with ease and features duplex printing at up to 24 ppm. For easy, intuitive operation the C405 has a large 5″ touchscreen LCD. Also, an easy-access USB port is available for walk-up printing and scanning. This unit is designed to last with a rated monthly duty cycle of 80,000 pages. Additionally, it features both USB 3.0 and Ethernet connectivity.

This printer is the workhorse around the office. We have about 40 employees with a mix of sales, support, and design teams. It does quite well for our needs. I love the remote printing capability as well. One thing I wish it had would be the ability to password protect a print job if one should desire, especially for sensitive HR documents.

I have to reset the machine because of low ink constantly. I dont want to print in color all the time & getting to that setting can be very time consuming.

I am having a problem with the printer printing. I do everything that I am told to do but it still doesn’t work. It tells me that the printer is not ready therefore it won’t printer.

The overall performance of the VersaLink 405 is good. It’s fairly easy to use. The ink is pricey!!! I have difficulty downloading the drivers needed to support the software I use which causes some frustration.

Previously, we had a Brother printer which did not scan 8.5 x 14 documents properly. With the feeder of the Xerox, It is much easier and faster, especially with the screen feature where you can had your most popular email addresses.

The printer is a very good product, but we do have problems with the automatic feeder when using 8X14 legal paper. It always jam and we have to feed by hand.

This is one of the nicest printer/scanners that I’ve ever had. It was really easy to set up and change the settings. I hope it lasts forever.

The VersaLink C405 combines several essential applications in one easy to use machine. Copies and printouts, scans, faxes, all from the touch screen so literally at your fingertips! The Auto and Text Photo (printed) settings produce great copies and printouts and the photo setting with photo quality paper is excellent! The only I can think of that I’d like to see improved is the scan speed and a little more top feeder load capacity for scanning, not that it is slow, we do A LOT of scanning so of course more speed would always be better, but the VersaLink C405 handles all our office can throw at it like a champ! Toner consumption isn’t bad, and besides regular maintenance the four C405 s are always up and online!

Very difficult to set up and use which is a shame because the print quality it outstanding.

The document feeder jams often. When it jams you must figure out where it stopped copying as it does not print all of the pages that went through before the jam. Using the feature that is suppose to remember where it stopped copying, proved to be aggravating so I delete the job when it jams. In all fairness to the printer, my company uses economy paper and probably not one that is recommended for the device.

We have migrated to a paperless environment and this printer meets our needs with its scan features and ability to print (black and white, color, single-sided, double-sided) when that occasional print job pops up. And while fax machines are a thing of the past, we are required to maintain a fax machine and the Xerox C405 meets that requirement. With our paperless migration, we were hardly printing and most incoming documents are already in an electronic format so the need for the rental of a large office printer / scanner had virtually disappeared. In cancelling our large printer rental, in the first month we were able to cover the cost of our downsized printer which has been able to meet our needs perfectly. It has a lot of touchscreen features that take a little getting used to and while the speed is not quite up to the speed of the large high volume printer that we had before, we are no longer printing high volume jobs so the speed is good for small print jobs.

Find this printer to work well in our office of 3 employees. Speed and quality of print is good. We do prefer the print quality of our older machine (wax based printer ink). Easy to setup and use.

This printer does it all! Printing exceptional quality color prints at high speed, scanning, copying, faxing, emailing, air drop connectivity, job logging. I can’t think of anything it can’t do for a small to medium sized office–except maybe for the dishes (which may be a feature of the next version!). And all this for a very affordable price. Highly recommended.

We have had this printer at work for at least 5 years, it is the top of the line, in my opinion, highly recommended.

Very solid printer, the print quality is very good. This printer says wifi capable, but you will have to purchase a wifi adapter seperately, which sucks for the price. Make sure you have network/ethenet cable connect before trying to install or it will be a headache and seem very complicated. Overall so far has been a pretty good printer for the price.

The control panel is much like an iPad with apps you can add or delete. Very nice. Works great, very fast super versital and the easiest device I have ever set up. The wizard was amazing. I only held back on the 5 star rating as I have only had the machine 3 weeks.

We bought this printer for our office staff of five individuals. It works well for our needs. Our only concern is with one of our older computers the device will fault at least once a day and prevent one of our workers from printing. We have tried to troubleshoot the issue and cannot resolve the problem. Other than that, printer works great we have attached the WiFi adapter and we use it on occasion to print from our phones. It was easy to setup on all computers with the Xerox setup program and the ink lasts quite a while for the price-point.
