Based on the RDNA 2 architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands 1440p gaming, the XFX Radeon RX 6700 XT SPEEDSTER QICK 319 BLACK Gaming Graphics Card provides an immersive gaming experience with your PC games. The GPU features 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 192-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous RDNA-based generation.
The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K @ 60fps, 4K @ 120fps, and even up to 10K. The Radeon RX 6700 XT supports APIs, such as DirectX 12 Ultimate and OpenGL. These APIs can take advantage of the GPU’s 4608 Stream Processors to accelerate parallel computing tasks, taking some of the processing load off of the CPU. For cooling, XFX implemented a triple fan cooler.

I just upgraded from an XFX 580 which I had for 3 years now to the XFX 6700XT. My old card could play all the games I wanted (Space engineers, World of Warships, Ghost Recon, Diablo 2,ect.). They played well at medium setting and averaged 60 ish FPS. But with this monster……120 FPS (Sniper Elite 5) – 300 FPS (World Of Warships) at max settings! It uses less power and generates less heat and offers so much! The shadows are amazingly smooth and the card is silent when running hard. One thing I will say, make sure your case is large enough. I have a Thermal Take Chaser MK1 which I have had for 12 years and there is barley enough clearance between the end of the card and the drive bays. I looks amazing and performs better than I expected.

I’ve been a cryptominer and necessarily go through many GPU’s. I often test them out on my primary desktop/gaming box before they are deployed as miners. I run dual 2K monitors at 120 hz. This 6700XT runs every game I play with a higher refresh than my monitors. The best part, the fans never get noisy and the gpu creates so little heat its not even noticeable. Compared to my former RTX 3080’s and 3070 Ti’s this one is just a better match. Its staying in my main box. AMD is also better at Alt Tabbing between windows while a game is in running in fullscreen mode. Its an instant switch while NVidia has a 1-2 second slag that’s annoying. I’ll be buying a next gen AMD GPU as well.

The card performs as expected based on benchmark reviews and is relatively cool. Currently running it undervolted with a custom fan curve and getting 55C. It looks great, but it’s huge and heavy, no complaints other wise.
