Utilize the fine precision of stereolithography technology to build your 3D designs with the Nobel 1.0 3D Printer from XYZprinting. Different to FDM printers that extrude filament to build prints, stereolithography uses a UV laser to trace designs in liquid photopolymer resin, curing and solidifying it layer by layer until a three-dimensional object emerges.
The Nobel printer can print objects up to 5 x 5 x 7.9″ and can achieve print precision up to 25 microns along the Z axis, and 300 microns along the x/y axis. The Nobel is a standalone printer that requires no software to operate. Simply insert a USB stick with your design in .stl or .3w format and choose settings on the 2.6″ display screen. You can also send files to the printer by attaching a USB cable from your computer to the Nobel printer.
The Nobel’s UV Laser 405nm Class 1 certification means it is safe for home use. The all-enclosed design protects users from ultraviolet rays during printing and ensures that printing byproducts aren’t released outside the printing area.
One bottle of resin is included with the Nobel printer, so you can start printing right away.

I just unpacked the printer and plug it to power and USB and start printing. No any issue. I purchased also extended warranty for any case in the future. Great working with B&H.

Worked fine first try! One slight issue is the way the sample parts are stored on the USB drive. The files are in a folder, the printer was looking for the individual file and not finding it. I copied the sample parts and moved them out of the folder and everything worked fine after that. What other reviewers wrote about the clean up afterwards is correct, not difficult just more involved than with a filament printer. Overall I think this printer deserves high marks.

The resolution is going to meet or exceed your needs. I have owned 2 EnvisionTEC machines in the past and it is great to see the SLA/DLP price point fall below $2000. The software is lacking but the actual 3D printing works great.

The only reason for the four star rating is because it is a slow printer. The quality of the prints are awesome. It does take about three times longer than maybe the formlabs but for me that’s fine. Seems to be well made, very easy setup, very well packaged. Made three prints so far and very impressed. I love that I can just start it, check it for the first few layers, and just let it go. I have two FDM printers and I do not feel comfortable able just leaving them unattended for very long. Bottom line …I think I will love this printer.
