It is easy to use, easy to hear, very clear sound, no howling. Outside the US, I ordered it and it arrived within a few days, awesome.

Due to Covid, my office situation changed to a permanent telework situation. For a while I was using a headset and the built-in mic on my laptop, but the audio quality of the laptop mic was poor. I debated adding a standalone mic, but didn’t care for the form factor and the space it would take up on my desk. After much research, I decided to purchase the Yamaha YVC-200. I’ve been using this speakerphone for a couple months now and am pleased with the audio quality. Mind you that this was designed as a speakerphone and in this regard it works quite well. It is normally is about 3-4 feet from where I sit and the loudness and quality of the conversation is quite good on both ends. I play some music with it, but it’s not a great audio speaker. I like the low-profile form factor as it doesn’t take up much room on my desk. It works equally well with softphone applications in both Windows and Linux environments. Personally I have this connected to my docking station through the provided usb cable and also simultaneously connect via Bluetooth to my cellphone. The only negative thing I can say is that a couple of times, the hardware microphone mute did not work properly. Even though I was muted, others could hear me speak. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Because of this, I strictly use the the softphone mute. Overall, I would recommend.
