This round over Router bit has a 1/8 in. radius and 1/8 in. cutting depth. The shank is 1/4 in. in Dia. Round over edge forming router bits add a simple yet elegant profile to the edge of furniture and table tops and are a staple for any router bit collection. Round over bits are distinguished by their radius property which also denotes its cutting depth. As with all edge forming router bits, these can be used to create small moldings that can be applied to many projects as well as crown molding build-ups. Up until I ordered this particular brand (Yonico) of a router bit, I’d never heard of the Yonico company. I was very surprised to see it advertised. I was looking for a small sized curvature (1/8″) that was tight to the ‘edge protector’ roller bearing. I was intending to route a small roundover design without having to use a second board underneath my 1/4″ workpiece. So, I fired up the router and the bit cruised down the length of the boards of my project without any problems. I was extremely pleased how the project turned out. The trimming was neat and smooth! I have a new ‘friend’ for my wood projects – GO YONICO!!
