This bottom cleaning Router bit has a cutting diameter of 1-1/2 in. and a cutting depth of 5/8 in. This bit also features center meeting blades and a 1/2 in. shank. Our bottom cleaning router bits feature center-meeting cutters that function as regular straight bit cutters with additional bottom cleaning properties. This will leave nicely cleaned-up routed bottom surfaces. This is especially useful when clearing large areas that will remain exposed. In contrast, cutters on most straight router bits do not meet at the very center of the bit, therefore dados and pockets, cut with regular straight bits often result with less than perfectly smooth bottom surfaces.
- For routing perfectly clean cavities and resurfacing projects
- Premium C3 micro-grain tungsten carbide blades for a sharper and longer lasting edge
- Use on CNC, table mount and handheld routers
- Silver induction brazing for maximum strength and durability
- Center meeting blades for smooth profile cutting
- Manufactured with anti-kickback design to help prevent workshop mishaps

Excellent router bit

Does what it was asked to. Only con is that it leaves barely perceptible ridges. Probably due to one of the cutters being slightly lower than the other.

This bit was just what I needed to flatten out a benchtop that had curled over many years. Now the bench is flat the way it is supposed to be. So far I have used it on only one project, but I expect to be using it again.
