Mounted on the front left corner of the workbench, it is able to rotate and be useful on both the left side or the front of the bench, and is also able to roll over vertically. Came with some good instructions for how to install it (that were partially shredded during shipping, but still legible). The packaging was mostly destroyed by this HEAVY vise during shipment, but the vise itself did not sustain any damage.Definitely larger than I had imagined, make sure to check dimensions. I am amazed how many times I have found myself using it in the past month. Solid construction, holding up well to some pretty heavy torque. The rotation in the horizontal plane is a pretty finicky, but once clamped down seems rock solid. The rotation in the vertical plane is smooth as butter. I greased all moving parts heavily as soon it came to protect from wear and rust, and put a layer of oil on everything else. Even so, it has started to show a touch of rust on the top anvil. Great Vise for the price though, I recommend it.

This 5 in Rotating Vise is very solidly constructed, with clean, nicely machined features. It operates smoothly and feels like a high quality product. The rotating head is extremely handy for the work I do, and makes it easy to hold my workpiece either horizontally or vertically, or anywhere in between. I would definitely recommend this item.

The Vice was exactly what I wanted for my bench. Works wonderful and is very versatile. Would buy this vice again if given the chance.

Like the rotating head idea, and it’s OK for general use, but would not use it in a professional situation. It is Chinese made, and am not certain it would hold up in that arena. Jaws are substantial, but the swivel base is {IMO} looser than it should be. Have only owned it a short time, but at its price point, it seems to be reasonable.

Love the vise. It’s a little hard to rotate, but other than that it’s great. Much better than some of the other stuff out there. I broke two on the same project before I bought this one. It worked.

Works great on my work bench.

Delivered as scheduled and has worked perfectly. I actually used it to hold the bolts I needed to cut for it to fit on my workbench. Trial by fire and it worked great!!
