Description
ALL Steel utility vises are light duty combination pipe and bench vises that are economically priced for various less demanding applications. The entire vise is constructed using structural cast steel. The bar covers the Acme threaded main screw. Each vise is equipped with replaceable hardened steel serrated jaws and built-in pipe jaws, interlocking swivel base with 360° motion equipped with 2 lockdowns, a large reinforced anvil and a no pinch main screw handle.

this was a great value. I shopped a lot of different stores, manufacturers, and price ranges. Easy to use, is very smooth, the clamping power (4200 lbs.) is one of the highest. Has a manufac.. warranty of 3 yrs./ for breakage, is made of cast steel instead of cast iron and the main screw is covered to keep out debris and 90 day return policy for any reason if unhappy. Shipped to my home for free (amazing for 26 lbs.) My order shipped the very next morning (ordered @ 8:00pm) and arrived right on time (during xmas rush).I couldn’t be happier and would recommend it to family & friends. For the 5″ vise I found that prices are $59.00 all the way to $3,800.00. I had no idea they could cost that much. Mine was $106.00 and seems like it will handle everything except the most extreme jobs that would require a professional (beyond my skill level). 5 stars!

Got this for my husband for Christmas, and he’s loved it so far. We built a workbench and attached this vice to the top using carriage bolts. it’s very sturdy strong. It moves smoothly and has a good surface on top. Highly recommend.

Researched vises for a little while, figured you can’t go wrong with a Yost. Well. when I got it I was a little dissapointed. For the price, I thought it would be a little more heavy duty, and what I didnt like is it only has three mounting feet where I thought it had four. It does close nice and smooth and the pivot lock downs work good, but for the money, I think you can get something cheaper that will do the same exact thing.

This seems like a solid bench vise although I have not used it yet. It is well built and seems more durable than the cheaper ones sold in the Home Depot stores. It moves and swivels freely without hanging up, which other brands could not do. I feel like I got a better product by paying a little more, but only time will tell. Right now I am happy with the purchase.
