Vice was a little bigger than i thought . i have used it and performance was very good.I would buy it again. i will need to make a good permanent handle.

Works great will be buying another for an end vise.

Great woodworking vise for the money. The installation instructions could be better but there are many good YouTube videos to make things clear. Also for an easy handle I just used 3/4″ steel pipe with (2) threaded caps for the ends.

Unfortunately I don’t have it installed yet. I will say from the box is very heavy duty it appears like it would have been more expensive

Well made heavy duty front vise for a very reasonable price.

Great vise for the price. Heavy duty parts. Just what I was looking for. I would give it 5 stars if it included a template or dimensioned drawing to drill the holes for the guide rods and screw.

Good vise. Mine racking but holds well.

I think this is a good value when you compare it to other vices of similar build. I have the same issue as every one else in that having very little instructions keeps it from having a 5 star rating. A template for the holes especially the screw holes would save lots of time and keep you from getting the holes drilled slightly off center. That’s what happened to me and I’m not sure how to fix the problem now. Everything has to be lined up near perfect or the rods will bind and not slide in. I used the vice as a template to mark these holes and trying to draw a circle while the pencil is inside a metal hole is not very exact. A template with a mark that you could just drive a nail into to center your drill would be a big benefit. The two pieces that are shown on the bars that have three screw holes each have to be set into the front of the bench so you need to rout or chisel them out so that these guides set flush with the front of the bench.
