I have used this product twice, and it has saved me both times. The first time i spilled a can of paint on my carpet in the back of my SUV. I know it says not to use on carpet, but it worked 100%, no residue or smearing left on the carpet.The second time a dropped a can of polyurethane in my garage, and I remembered I had this product so I poured less than a 1/4 bag on about half a can that spilled. It picked all of it up in less than 30 seconds! No residue on concrete — NO MUSS NO FUSS.This product is AWESOME!

Zep does a wonderful job. I used to pick up liquid around my cats litter boxes, have a naughty cat that would rather use my floor than the litter box. I’m telling Santa , no presents for you. Just swept the urine up. Then mopped . Made the mess sooo much easier to clean.

I did my “Home Depot run” looking for clay/kitty litter. I asked the courteous woman at Customer Service if they sold kitty litter, as I discovered a (ugh) substantial oil leak on my garage floor after moving my old Triumph.She replied that although HD didn’t sell (clay) kitty litter they did have something which might help: in aisle 40, Zep Sweeping Compound.When I located the product I realized it was 50pounds, yet right next to it was Zep Instant Spill Absorber (3 lbs). I bought two, and immediately on returning home, applied Zep in my garage.The difference between what my garage floor looked like this morning, and what it looks like after Zep Instant Spill Absorber, is astonishing! Someone deposited a used oil filter in my garbage can and turned what was a clean bucket into an oil-filled nightmare. No problem with Zep. Just a little soaked it all up, and I mean aggressively soaked it up. It’s just a lightweight powder, so you think it will take the whole bag, but it only takes a little. Definitely a professional’s product. And a good price too for such an effective result.
