Zep Stain-Resistant Floor Sealer is an important step in the Zep 4-Step Pro Floor Maintenance System. The floor sealant is used before applying floor polish to enhance the gloss, polish longevity and stain resistance. Zep floor sealer suits unfinished vinyl, rubber, terrazzo, and unfinished concrete surfaces. Clear coating resists stains from everyday spills like food, drink and tracked dirt. This product is not a stand-alone sealer.

We have a 10,000 sqft concrete shop floor. Every year or two we clean, strip, seal and finish our floors with these Zep products. The most important step is to mop the floor with clean water several times before laying down sealer and finish. We use the stripper with a floor scrubber, mop it up, then follow with another floor scrubber using the neutral cleaner, that way it gets up a of the stripper that gets dried out or flung around and missed. When applied carefully, you get a perfectly gloss finish. Also if you skip the sealer, you will see more imperfections in the base material. The sealer helps keep the concrete looking more uniformly wet.Also the best way to apply this product is with a wide microfiber mop such as the Rubbermaid Hygen Q570, Q424 and the telescoping angled handle. we used to use the rayon mop heads but they take longer and leave streaks. the streaks will dry out and be fine, but they wind up taking like 2 hours to fully dry between coats.

We bought some porcelain tile for our flooring (Florida Tile caiman red) and they are gorgeous, after installed they always looked like they were dirty and dull, while they were wet you fall in love with the texture and the looks but you will start crying when they were getting dry. We had this flooring for almost two years, I searched and searched for wax, some people was really against that and I was kind of scared to try, this past weekend I was tired of that love/hate feeling when mopping them and went back and looked a little bit more, for some reason this product popped up and we decided to give it a shot. We went against the instructions and used a cotton mop to apply it. We have been in loved for the past few days, it really brings all the details of the porcelain like if it were wet!!!! And also you can apply one coat, two, three as many as you want, the more coats you apply the shinier it looks so you can even control how much shine you are getting from your floor. If you want some wet look on your flooring this is the product to try, really does what it says it will do. It is difficult to see in the photos the difference but in real person is huge. Without ZEP it looks dull, almost dirty (like the grout film wasn’t removed and believe me, that floor has been INCREDIBLY cleaned several times, it is not grout haze)THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!

This works as advertised. Im glad I used this before applying my floor polish because this stuff sealed the raw linoleum where I didnt have to apply as many polish(wax) coats. I only wish HD sold this in 5 gal jugs, I had to purchase three (1 gal) jugs for my project.
