Zep Hardwood and Laminate Floor Refinisher revitalizes the look of finished hardwood floors by adding lasting shine. Zep Floor Refinisher is great for residential and commercial hardwood floor restoration projects. The polyurethane finish acts as a wood filler on scratches and dries in 30-minutes leaving a clear coat finish. This refinisher does not require rinsing and covers 650 sq. ft.

I recently installed a used laminate floor. It was in fair to good shape overall but was manufactured in 2005 so it had some amount of wear. After installation I cleaned the floor with Zep Laminate floor cleaner. After the first cleaning (using a new sponge mop) I went back and hand cleaned a few “stickie” spots with some “goo gone” I then cleaned the floor again with Zep Laminate floor cleaner. In between cleanings I washed the sponge mop head thoroughly. I then using a O’Ceder micro fiber floor mop/duster and applied a total or 3 coats of refinisher. The first coat was heavy as the floor was very dry. In between coats I placed the mop head in a plastic bag. After waiting the recommended 30 minutes I applied a second and then a third coat waiting at least the recommended 30 minutes. I was able to allow the floor to thoroughly dry over night the product recommends a minimum of 4 hours after last coat. The Floor is beautiful, the shine is amazing. IMHO the floor looks 95% as new. I believe it is important to stress that the floor be very clean before applying the refinisher. This is noted on the bottle. I could not be happier as I was able to buy a used floor for $75 and with just the cost of the cleaner the refinisher and the mop was able to restore it to near new look. Please note that the floor was in a 12’x17′ room 204 Sq ft. I have approx 1/3 of the bottle left. If you have a floor that is showing its age and is dull and a bit scratched you will not be disappointed in Zep Hardwood & Laminate Floor Refinisher. I cannot stress enough, follow the instructions, clean the floor very thoroughly and use a clean and recommended type of applicator mop. My total cost for the refinish was approx $25 for the products and the mop and I had enough left to refinish about a 1/3 larger room. I hope the images are included in the review as I submitted them for the sweepstakes but am glad to show off the work I am very proud of.

Wow! I bought this several months ago but then decided to hire a comoany to do a light sanding and one coat of poly. That job lasted barely a week unitl the coat started to crack and split all over. The floor looked worse than it had before I hired someone. Well, I used this and it gave me compravle results to the professional refinish and so far so good with the longevity of the finish. I applied to my stairs, long hallway, kitchen/dining/living room area using an old t-shirt. Really impressed and so much cheaper than hiring someone.

Absolutely the best home improvement product I have ever purchased!!! Amazing improvement with just one coat but I put a second coat on and the floors gleam as if they were brand new.
