Get performance in tight spots with the ZBOX edge MI643 Mini PC from ZOTAC. Featuring a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-10210U quad-core CPU, this barebone computer is designed for everyday processing. Two RAM slots support up to 64GB of 2666 MHz SO-DIMMs. Install M.2 SATA SSDs in two slots, or attach external drives or other wired accessories via a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C or three Type-A ports. Want to cut down on clutter? Connect to wireless accessories with Bluetooth 5.0 and go online with Wi-Fi 5. Two RJ45 ports are also present, supporting dual Gigabit Ethernet.
Utilizing integrated Intel UHD Graphics, the MI643 supports dual displays and resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 via HDMI 2.0 and 4096 x 2160 via DisplayPort 1.2. Use the built-in card reader to access media on microSD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. A Kensington Lock slot can be used to physically secure the MI643, while two included VESA mounting brackets can be used to attach this computer behind a monitor, under a desk, or to compatible third-party mounts. The ZBOX edge MI643 comes with no OS installed but is Windows 10 64-bit ready.

After installing Windows 10 on my MI643 unit, I was very surprised to find out ZOTAC didn’t include a simple TPM module into the motherboard to handle Bitlocker keys. After emailing ZOTAC tech support, they confirmed that there is indeed no TPM module built into this model and they do NOT be offering a solution to add on later so unless you want to cripple Windows 10 security, you will have no choice but to avoid using Bitlocker all together with this system.
