Based on NVIDIA’s Pascal architecture, the ZOTAC GeForce GT 1030 Graphics Card provides major improvements in performance, memory bandwidth, and power efficiency over its predecessor, the high-performance Maxwell architecture. It also introduces innovative graphics features and technologies that redefine the computer as the platform for playing AAA games and taking full advantage of virtual reality via NVIDIA VRWorks.
The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs. There is an HDMI 2.0b output and a DVI-D Single-Link output. The GT 1030 is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU’s 384 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA or other APIs.
For cooling, ZOTAC implemented a single fan cooler that is combined with a heatsink.

I needed to upgrade my graphics card after purchasing a new monitor; my older computer’s graphics couldn’t handle 60Hz refresh rate. As a non-gamer, I didn’t need a high-end graphics card, just one suitable for work and online meetings. This card fit the bill, was easy to install, and worked perfectly from the first boot-up.

Bought for my 13 yr old grandson to go with his new Dell Vostro 3670 w/ an i3-8100 CPU. He was happy with it running Roblox and some Steam games. I didn’t want to spend an extra fifty bucks for a GTX 1050.

Had the graphics card go out in an older machine that lacked a PCIe power cable, and there weren’t a whole lot of options out there that fit the bill. Not only did this one fit within tight physical and power restrictions, but it was a noticeable step up in performance from the old one. That said, if you’re not up against tight space and power limits, the value isn’t great. A little bit more money can buy a lot more performance. ALSO, there are three different chip/memory configurations sold as the GT 1030, which do NOT perform equally. This model uses the best of the three, but having to check the fine print to make sure you are getting the correct GT 1030 is not a good move from Nvidia.

This card is running very well in my HP 8200 SFF that I have setup as an emulation machine. My goal was to be able to run Ultra Street Fighter IV through Steam and emulate N64, Gamecube and Dreamcast games. Runs them all very well.
